Travelodge Sedgefield

Friendly welcome. Room was clean and tidy and cool as we were there on a sunny weekend. Bed was so comfortable. There’s a snack vending machine in the lobby and the hotel is close to Le Raj, an Indian restaurant. Although the hotel was right beside a busy road, once the windows were shut we didn’t hear a thing.

We was welcomed by a nice receptionist but then it went all down hill the bathroom was not accessible for a disabled person sticking rails up don't mean it's accessible my wife couldn't av a shower as she couldn't get into the bath to have a shower and the bathroom was dirty and stains everywhere and the double bed was 2 singles put together and the 1 mattress was hard and the other was really soft which left a gap in the middle so I didn't get no sleep which is no good when I had to drive 5 hours home will not be recommending

Great little hotel staff are amazing and one really stood out I believe her name to be Cheryl, always welcomed you with a smile always asked if she could do anything to enhamce your stay and if you needed anything if only the other travelodge staff was like this up and down the country you wouldn't have alot going to premier Inn, I think travelodge so honour the good working staff like all businesses should as with out the hard working folk who are the back bone of any company they wouldn't be making a profit, hope to see you again soon Many thanks for experience Carl.biggs

Stayed for 1 night and was much nicer than expected for the price room was spacious and clean but most off all the staff(reception clerk) was really cheerful, helpful and friendly CHERYL definitely made our stay a lot more pleasant. Thank you CHERYL need more staff around like you!

Clean hotel with comfortable beds, very basic but was fine for a few nights. One staff member was very helpful with information on the area, I think her name was Cheryl, she was very welcoming and gave great recommendations for where to eat locally and things to do. It's nice to see smiling staff on the front desk. Would stay again!

The receptionist Cheryl was the highlight. A fabulous sense of humour and a great start to my stay. She was actually on duty last year when I stayed and it was great to see her smiley face again. First impressions of a hotel are very important so Whoop Whoop to Cheryl
