Stayed here for a work trip for 5 nights. Overall the hotel was decent. Decent sized rooms with full kitchens and even a balcony although some rooms are slightly larger and smaller than others. My room was on the 9th floor which required taking the main elevator to the 8th, walking to the middle of the floor, and taking another elevator up one more flight. Had a portable fan in my room which may suggest a issue with the AC at one point as my coworkers did not have the same in their rooms. However it helped to provide some white noise at night. Upon check in on the first day, the front desk clerk wrote a room number on my key card so I went to the room attempting to open the room with my new key. It denied access so I called the front desk from the courtesy phone in the hallway and discovered he wrote the wrong room number on the card. Could have been embarrassing but I guess it was an innocent mistake. Housekeeping likes to toss changed linens all over all the hallways so if you arrive too early, you have to side steps piles of bedding to get to the room. The hotel is walking distance to shops, restaurants, coffeehouses, and the Public Market down by the waterfront. I felt safe walking around after work but I could see how others may think differently especially at night. On Wednesdays, the hotel hosts a mini happy hour in the buffet area for guests. It is also across the street from the convention center. The last night of the trip (Friday night) brought more guests to the hotel and end up with a party next door. Even after they were asked to quiet down by security, I could hear drawers and shelves banging and doors slamming most of the night but I was leaving early the next morning so just dealt with it. Overall the price was right and it was central to everything so I would stay here again if I had another trip to the area.
