They didn't suggest me any way to compensate for even part of the stay. I had a really bad day and some unforeseen events that prevented me from being able to stay at the hotel. My car stopped in the middle of the highway, I had high expenses for repairing it and high doses of stress and I suddenly found myself in bad financial conditions. I sent them a message at 12:08 and they didn't reply; I asked them to wave fees but they refused without even replying. asked them again at 16:13 and this time they replied at 18:12 (two hours later) that they tried to resell the room until 19:00 (so for 48 minutes, if so) and if they succeeded they proceeded to refund me. Some minutes later I received the notification on my phone that the amount was withdrawn from my bank account. So why didn't they try to resell the room until, for example, midnight and what if they succeeded? They would have obtained twice (or more) the price of the room at my expense. We could have arranged for a partial refund since they had not incurred expenses for my stay (breakfast, pool, cleaning, water, electricity, etc.) but they did not. We could have agreed on a change of dates, (although I would have preferred a partial refund given the poor financial condition in which I suddenly found myself) but they did not.
