"The room that we stayed in (10) was far from acceptable. There were stains all over the floor and a stain on one of the pillow slips. The room stunk of cigarette smoke and we had to leave the door open for awhile because the air freshener used to try and cover up the smell was so strong it made my eyes water. The bottom of the shower curtain was mouldy. I understand that it is expensive to do up the rooms. However, charging $170 is ridiculous. If it was $100 I would understand. I contacted the owner to let them know and they ghosted me."

"Finding the entry was difficult as we had to navigate through a Coles car park. The apartment was mainly clean except for the fridge and the dishwasher. Milk provided only had one day left on the expiry date. Comfortable bed but couldn’t sleep because of freight trains throughout the entire night and morning. Tap in bathroom was very hard to turn on and off. Whilst shower head sprayed everywhere and unable to adjust for height."

"La estrella de Strathearn Park Lodge fue un hermoso y relajado parada en nuestro viaje entre el Paraíso de Surfer y las Montañas Azul. Peter fue un host maravilloso y nuestra habitación estaba cómoda y bien equipada con una cama grande, un jacuzzi maravilloso, un incendio y un jardín privado con té y servicio de café en la habitación. "Bueno, qué pequeña joya de un motel. A lo largo de la autopista lo suficiente para ahogar el ruido del tráfico. Me recuerdo algo de una película de 60 cuando me subí. Grandes estacionamiento bajo cubierta justo fuera de la puerta. La caja con el café y el té con joyas era un toque especial y así fue la máquina de café. La ducha estaba para morir después de conducir durante 8 horas en el tráfico pesado. Entonces había la cama ....wow ... Me colapsé en ella y me cayó inmediatamente. Lo que quería hacer es llevarla y la casa de la galleta conmigo. Recomiendo muy bien este pequeño lugar. Sólo tenía un pequeño error y que era un poco deficiente, me pareció difícil salir del baño porque donde se colocaron los rollos de baño así tal vez un pequeño bar en el lado de la puerta sería grande. La dama también me puso una silla de ducha que era tan maravillosa. La ducha era tan maravillosamente caliente y se sentía como que te masajea. Definitivamente quedarme de nuevo sin problemas en absoluto. Muchas gracias xxx"

"We stayed at the motel in late November for 3 nights The room was the largest we had stayed in for a long time. It was clean, tidy and seemed to be well appointed. Actually it was a lot better than others we have stayed in. The bed was very comfortable. there was plenty of cutlery and stuff. The fridge worked. The bathroom was a little dated but the shower was hot, had good pressure and kept the temperature constant. All in all a good room. But.... The bed was supposed to be made up each day provided nothing personal was left on the bed. It did not happen! The only service the room got was to empty one of the waste paper baskets and put milk in the fridge The TV remote was broken and when I spoke to the assistant he showed me how to operate it by pushing on some tape on one end. This worked for 5 minutes then this failed. I got around this by operating the TV from the back of the TV set. He told me that he had a new one ordered although this did not help us. The microwave could not be operated as there was problems with programming the cook time. I am reasonably proficient with this type of stuff but I had no luck. I did not contact the assistant due to reasons below. I asked the assistant about places to see. This resulted in him pointing me to the documentation in the room. I felt that he was too busy on his phone to bother with me. He seemed abrupt. These things took the edge of our stay and spoiled what could be fantastic motel if only better attention was paid by the staff and keeping the equipment operational in the room."
