The winery is located in the peaceful south of Tuscany in a dreamlike landscape high up on a hill, with a perfect view towards the sea. The estate exudes a relaxed atmosphere far away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist centers. It is the perfect place to switch off. The accommodation is lovingly furnished, the food (both breakfast (a la carte) and dinner (a la carte or “theme evenings”)) is tasty and delicious. I would particularly like to highlight the staff, who are dedicated and always courteous to their guests. This is how hospitality works.

I stayed at Tenuta Fattoria Vecchia as a solo traveller recently and it was absolutely fantastic! If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful getaway with plenty of gorgeous tuscan valleys of rolling hills and clifftop towns to visit nearby, this is the place for you. Massimiliano, Beatrice and Mirco really looked after me so well, they gave lovely service and great sightseeing tips. Very kind people who make you feel most welcome. A shout out to the excellent kitchen chef who cooked delicious! meals each night and also to the lovely cleaning team who worked their magic through the rooms and grounds. Excellent pool too. Nestled within olive groves and vineyards, you can simply sit and enjoy the birdsong and gentle breeze as you gaze across the valley, tall grasses gently swaying before you, casting their long shadows in the evening sun. Bliss. Thank you to the team for a wonderful stay, veramente bello, grazie mille per tutto!!

Wonderful relaxing stay in a truly beautiful location. Outstanding hospitality from Giorgio, Lucrezia and Sandra. Such kind and considerate hosts. Genuinely want their guests to have a great time - we did! Excellent base to visit Tuscany. Food and wine is lovely. The house is charming and great swimming pool. Fantastic place.

We had a wonderful few days. An amazing setting, with views 360, as if on the top of the world. The hotel is relaxed and very comfortable. The food fantastic and the pool wonderful. It is a place to relax and chill. Was quite warm while we ere there but that's what the pool is for.

From the minute you to turn up and greeted by the serene Sandra to the moment you unfortunately have to leave Giorgio’s farmhouse is breathtaking. Where to begin,the farmhouse is surrounded by the divine rolling hills 360 degrees . The rooms are sympathetically styled to give you the relaxed ambience this property so richly deserves. Everywhere is immaculately clean and your room is spotless everyday with fresh towels. Georgio the owner is the warmest most genuine person I’ve ever met, his passion for his business and care for his staff and guests goes above and beyond. The food is divine and nothing is too much trouble if you have special dietary requirements . We have to give a mention to Sandra who is so discreet sweet natured and only wants to please you. We will return hopefully with friends next year to show them how you can actually unwind successfully in this beautiful property. Giorgio thank you so much for your warmth care and for the privilege of staying in your beautiful home. We will be back x

We had a fantastic stay for 3 nights in June. Stunning location with fabulous views, large, well appointed room with private garden for enjoying a glass of wine before dinner. The grounds are beautiful if you want to relax by the pool but also a great location for day trips to Siena, Saturnia, Pitigliano etc. The food is excellent with a menu of local food and wine, along with a nearby vineyard which supplies much of it where you can visit and do a tasting. By far the best thing however is the small, intimate atmosphere. With only a handful of rooms we got to know several of the other guests. The staff were very friendly and Giorgio the owner went out of his way to chat, give recommendations for day trips and endless new bottles of wine. We have already recommended Tenuta Fattoria to several friends, and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay here in June 2022. The rooms, service and food were all first-rate. Fantastic value too. Giorgio is a great host full of recommendations for day trips. Sienna, Saturnia and pitigliano are all within easy drive. The grounds are beautiful with great views of the tuscan country and there is a lovely pool to relax by and cool down in. Will definitely return.

We were looking for a special small hotel in a quiet part of Tuscany for the second part of our family holiday to celebrate our retirement. All our expectations were exceeded at this beautiful place and more. Georgio (the owner) has created a home-from-home that is wonderfully welcoming, relaxing and friendly. All the staff worked together as a team to create the homely atmosphere. Although the hotel is not specifically geared for children, our 2 year old grand daughter was wonderfully looked after and catered for, especially with lots of gelato. As stated in other reviews, the hotel was spotlessly clean, pool side relaxing, and everywhere beautiful views across the Tuscan countryside. We ate in the restaurant 4 out of our 5 night stay as the food was so good, great value, with enough variety and delivered at a leisurely pace while we spent our evening together. Georgio gave us great advice on where to visit, the best beach and arranged a wonderful local wine tour for us. Georgio, our whole family loved your place and the welcoming culture you have created based on your ethos of making it like a home from home. We can’t wait to come back again soon. Thank you so much.

In my last review I promised we’ll visit again. Unfortunately I have to repeat myself, even though we stayed much longer: Beautiful rooms (this time with another stunning, panoramic view), quaintly furnished and absolutely clean. The restaurant still serves fantastic food, freshly prepared and served beautifully. For breakfast you have a wide variety of options to choose from - a very good start of the day! A very nice pool area with stunning views and a well serviced, clean basin. Giorgio and his team made us feel at home again and this time even more so. We will recommend this heaven of peace and relaxation to all our friends! I‘ve hardly ever said this before in a review but we will definitely visit another time!
