The room is bright and spacious. But the cleanliness should have been done better than this,. There is also a small spider and some white wall painting dirts at the floor corner. It seems that they do not have a room prepared for the coming checked in guests. Others than that, the hotel is ok. The service is so so, not good or bad. But I don’t really feel a Thai hospitality in the hotel, may be because very few Thai propel working there, only in the spa.

Lovely hotel perched up on the jebel akhdar mountain. Beautiful sunrise from room. Dinner was delicious and breakfast too.

For a team building session we met Ms. Fortunate and Mr. Asif. They made our day by fun and lesson learning games. Along with games our stay also was pleasant and enjoyable in the resort and I must appreciate the restaurant for the atmosphere and food.

Our travel agent booked this hotel for us. Due to an error, the room came with dinner. We are not fans of eating in captivity (i.e. the hotel, robbed of choices outside) but despite being a buffet, the Verandah's food is a notch better than your average buffet fare. Not overwhelming choice but enough and the dishes were acceptable in quality and taste. My husband has dietary intolerances to garlic & onion, so Chef Doi took it upon herself for the 2 dinners we had to prepare something for my husband he could eat. Thank you. Compliments also to the tall Indian captain and the wait staff. We chatted with Jessa. They were diligent and seemed to want to do their job i.e. not lacklustre & dragging their feet. Maybe the clearing of the plates could be a little less efficient. Other than the above, the hotel is not great. The draft is the adventure park but usage of that comes at a cost. No one used the 3 days 2 nights when we were there. The rooms are clean but a bit dated i.e. chipped wooden cabinets and edges of mirrors. Check in was slow and the gentleman who checked us in then drove us in a buggy to our room in chalet block 34. That is located at the periphery of the property. We asked him how being located quite far away, we would get back to the main building and he confidently answered golf buggy. Alas due to lack of staff we waited 10-15 mins for a buggy to take us to our first dinner and it never came. We walked to and fro the main building and 3402 in the end. The toilet in our room had a problem with the flush and in the first night it flushed non-stop and the sound of running water (not to mention the thought of wasted clean water) kept me up. There is also a blinking smoke detector light in the middle of the ceiling that kept me up at night. Last, there is no hot water in the shower. It's hard to shower in the mornings. In the late afternoon it's better as the water tanks have heated up during the day. But the little bit of heated water from the day runs out quick so you have to be speedy. On the first night of our stay the hotel hosted a group of 40 10 year old boys who ran amok around the dinner buffet, it was quite chaotic. the next night was a group of 30 15 year old boys who were better behaved.

They were always welcoming, helpful, and quick to assist with anything I needed. Thank you, Anwar and Aziza, for your excellent service and dedication. You truly represent the best of the reception team.
