Park Safari Resort

Our visit to this resort with family of 11 was worth a trip. Hotel itself is in a very good location depending on the roof facing sea view and the swimming pool. Was told if you are lucky sometimes you may see the rhino. Hotel itself need a detail cleaning as the railing and the glasses are very dirty and dusty. I found the staffs very polite and helpful. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were included in the package but the breakfast lacks some items and looks like mainly focus on Indian customers we as we live in Europe expect bit more items on the breakfast. Same for lunch and dinner but on second day they adjusted towards our taste bud. Rooms are nice and big but again detail cleaning must be done as there were lots of dust everywhere. From the second floor balcony you can see dust covered both sides on the wood and on the railing itself. Focus on cleaning to please other guest please. Will definitely visit again if we go to Saurah again. According to the European culture we tipped them good and hope they are happy.

Park Safari is one of the best resort to be with family and friends. The experience was so good do be in well equipped facilities, pool and good food. The view from the room of jungle and river is amazing and in addition if you observe the sunset, it mesmerising. Everyone should visit and stay in Park safari resort.

1 star for me..we were there with family and friends with kids aged 4 .. they gave us one room which faced to that big bee hive. When we asked to provide another room they insisted us to be in that room and not to open the window… 😡😡 Such a big disappointment…

Booked a riverside room for 4 nights. Room was not available at arrival. We got another room facing the parkinglot for a night, we could switch the next day to the other side for the remainder of our stay. Dirty sheets and smelly pillows (see picture) did not make our night pleasent. No restaurant the second day because they used the restaurant for a congress. Congress members were harassing my wife at the swimming pool, constantly taking pictures of her. When i spoke to the management he said that they had noticed. And.. they did nothing.... In the garden construction work was performed with heavy machinery making loud noise. I went inside to ask the management how long it would take, but they could not say if it was hours or days. We have changed to another very nice hotel and now enjoying our stay.

We had a two night stay here as part of our northern India and taste of Nepal trip. From the moment we arrived and were greeted we knew this stay would be special. The manager greeted us and we had a welcome photo (provided) and an explanation of the programme for the rest of the day and the following day which was all included in the price of the stay as was breakfast lunch and dinner on a package menu. The hotel is simple with a large pool and deck and located on the banks of the river. Within minutes of arrival a rhino was spotted on the other side of the river giving an instant idea of the real location within the Chitwan national park. The rooms are quite basic but have everything you would need including controllable ac, bottled water, mini fridge, tea coffee kettle, balcony overlooking the river, and a small bathroom. Caution the bathrooms are wet rooms as the overhead shower sprays everywhere. The comp wifi was the best signal we received during our time in India and Nepal at a download speed in excess of 200 mpbs. The one restaurant is staffed by young waiters and waitresses who are just the nicest people and so eager to please. Because the hotel was quite quiet they asked us to preorder dinner from the package menu. I asked if they served white wine and they said no but please tell us what you would like and we will see if we can get it for you. They did just that and my chardonnay duly arrived chilled at the table. Excellent service. The choices on the package menu were good and there was also an a la carte menu for lunch and dinner if we preferred and an allowance given. Good choice of imported and Nepalese beers. The food was excellent and waiting times minimal. Local Desserts freshly made Service was friendly and personable. Breakfast was a buffet with reasonable choice. Omelette available from the kitchen. Good local breads and muffins. The included programme! First was an afternoon walk of around 90 minutes into the safari park. We saw crocodiles and rhino. Amazing. Next morning we did an early dug out canoe boat trip and drfted down the river observing bird life, deer, and many crocodiles, followed by a walk to the elephant breeding centre where we saw mothers and babies together. Just incredible. An afternoon jeep safari into the Chitwan National Park revealed loads of bird life, different species of deer, rhino and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Amazing (again) In the evening we were treated to a pre dinner cultural show of Nepalese dancers and music. All of the above included in our package. Of course tipping is expected and more than earned. Our guide, Samjhana, was wonderful, so knowledgeable and with eyes like a hawk she spotted every bird or animal. Amazing. Such memories. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and all the experiences that come with the package.
