I echo other reviewers who stated how perfect this inn is. Not only is it exceptionally clean and comfortable, but it is also very friendly. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the owner Kathleen Smith was very hands on. I encountered her several times during my brief stay and we actually had a lovely chat while I was at breakfast. There are extra touches such as a snack bar where one can pick up items such as house made granola bars, hummus and cheese. In addition extras in the room include flat and sparkling water and local (Vermont) chocolates. The breakfast is fresh with local ingredients and delicious. I will definitely return!

I have wanted to stay at this hotel ever since my son enrolled at Skidmore College. I had the opportunity to book a room at a reasonable rate in early November. I highly recommend this hotel. My room was quiet, comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. My stay included the breakfast package—the breakfasts here are delicious, with generous portion sizes. There is a small fitness area in the basement, as well as two rooms on the first floor where you can enjoy an after dinner drink. It was too cold to sit out on the porch in November, but I read that during the warmer months, cocktails are available to purchase and guests can sit outside on the porch. One of the most appealing aspects of this hotel is the very generous (some would say decadent) snack bar for guests. Free, plentiful sweet and savory treats to enjoy through the day. I can’t wait to return.

Saratoga Arms is a wonderful, family-owned inn in downtown Saratoga Springs, right in the heart of all the shops, restaurants, and cafés. Before your stay, you will be asked your preferences for room temperature, amenities, linens, etc. — and that is a precursor to the warm welcome and the personal guest services you’ll receive upon arrival and during your stay! The inn and its rooms are quaint and historical, with lovely touches throughout. We loved every minute of our stay!

Nicely decorated. We liked the fireplaces in the sitting rooms downstairs. We enjoyed the nice variety of snacks and the sparkling Saratoga water. Beautiful windows and drapes in the room. Convenient right on Broadway. Beautiful porch.

Lovely property and great customer experience with the staff. Everything is high quality and you can tell the owners and staff pay attention to the details. Ethan and Joel at the front desk were outstanding! large, updated rooms; great set up with free--delicious homemade!--snacks and drinks as well. highly recommend this property.

We stayed at the Saratoga Arms a week ago. It is a beautiful hotel that is centrally located in the heart of Saratoga. The hotel is super clean, the staff is extremely friendly and breakfast is amazing. We will definitely stay at the Saratoga Arms again.

Even before we arrived, we had inquiries from the hotel about our arrival time, robe sizes and any details that would make our stay more comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the staff was courteous, attentive and eager to please. The room was lovely, the bed so comfy and the amenities delightful. Everything was perfect and we had a delightful time here. Kudos to the knowledge and friendly staff! Well done!

Beautiful rooms elegantly furnished with high-end en-suite bathroom fixtures and towels in a lovely restored old home located downtown in the main shopping area of this very beautiful small college town. Be sure to check out the great front porch overlooking the many interesting shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars along Broadway Street. A delicious free breakfast is provided in a large elegant dining room overlooking Walton Street. Ten parking places are reserved for Inn guests on Long Alley across Walton Street from the main entrance to the hotel (ring the bell to unlock the entrance). Hotel staff will assist with luggage carts if needed. A two-floor free parking garage is also located a very short block away on Walton Street. The staff was marvelous and Mikayla (guest Concerierge) was very helpful getting us a reservation in a highly popular and very close restaurant (13 Church St) whose Internet site showed as fully booked. My wife and I will definitely return when we next visit.

Absolutely fell in love with this place. We had 24 people in our group and everyone said the same things: Breakfast was incredible. Easily two of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Complimentary snacks were extensive and a wonderful surprise. These little details make the stay even more memorable. Location was perfect for shopping and dinners for our large group. Noone had to get in their cars. The front porch is the perfect place for gathering or relaxing in the afternoon and after dinner. Can't say enough about the service. Every staff member was Absolutely lovely and very helpful! Can't wait to return!
