Andau Dive Resort What a bliss! The staff is superb, from the 'welcome commity' on the jetty untill the 'goodbye'...all of them! The cottages: Clean...spacious, with hot water...cold airco! This luxury is a rarity in Raja. Wifi in the restaurant. Lovely massage therapist, the kitchen chef (the food is soo good, every day very big and tasty variety) Three times a day, a tasty snack late afternoon. The host, captain...all helpers...dive staff...and then...the dive master!! So extremely hospitable, helpful, welwilling, safe and secure! Thinking and acting in solutions and opportunities. Waow Brand New Equipment In front of the resort is a gorgeous white sand beach, stretching along the entire island. Sunbathing on beds with matrasses (yes the do exist in Raja) and umbrellas, showers on the beach!! Jetty and canoes with see-through-glass, After 20/30 meters the sandy slope drops deep...if you are lucky you can swim with manta's. We where so super lucky snorkling with these incredible creatures every afternoon! Tons of other fish...incredible big schools of them. Dolphins cruising by daily too. What a sight! We saw big stuff jumping as well, once a manta...second a whale I guess. The whole bay is teeming with life! Yes prices are high in Raja Ampat. Here it is defenitely worth every rupiah. If you are looking for a great deal in upscale and luxury dive/snorkel/swim/relax. Stop searching...this is the one!
