While we didn't stay at Elixir, we stayed next door, we had drinks there a couple of evenings and ate there at least four times and each time was excellent. The staff are very nice and friendly. After arriving to Kamari we had our first lunch there and thought the food was so delicious and fresh. Having traveled extensively, I think Santorini has probably the best and freshest food yet. See photos I've posted for more details. We had breakfast twice which was great, lunch in the restaurant one day and snacks on the beach another day. Drinks on their terrace is great for people watching in the evening.

Day trip to Kamari. Stopped for lunch as attracted by diverse menu with unusual flavour combos. Complimentary nibbles - bread cheese olives Amazing watermelon salad. Really yummy. Fantastic flavour combo Lovely waiter. Helpful, chatty & not pushy

This is a gem of a hotel. Right opposite the beach with its own sunbeds. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bed is large and extremely comfortable. The bathroom is beautiful with a fabulous shower and good water pressure. All the staff here have been so friendly and Panos who looks after you on the beach is such a lovely, friendly and attentive member of staff. He is definitely a credit to the hotel. This hotel has definitely got me wanting to come back and I most certainly will. Thank you all staff for making our stay fabulous.

Stopped for lunchtime drinks and Baileys milkshake was superb , staff were friendly and prompt, lovely setting with very comfortable seating We didn’t eat here but the food that was being served looked very tempting, we will return here for a meal on our next visit

I will daydream of Elixer Del Mar when it’s cold and gray this winter. The location is absolutely perfect (an openly hidden stretch of Kamari that is quieter and less crowded than the two ends). The room was large, well appointed, comfortable and super clean. The mini hot tub - what a treat! The staff couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming. I would absolutely return!

Last morning for us in Santorini so we’re up early to watch the sunrise. The Elixir Del Mar is a lovely small family run hotel, right on the beach front. Immaculately clean, great food but the best thing is the staff. We have a particular soft spot for Kostas, who has looked after us on the beach everyday, and we got to spend some time with his lovely girlfriend, who visited for a couple of days while we were here. The sunbeds and parasols are free for the hotel guests. It’s a perfect resort for couples (especially newly-remarried ones!). There is a real mixture of nationalities here - very Cosmopolitan. One Greek Irish bar, and no signs advertising full English breakfasts or Sunday roasts. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The pebbly beach wouldn’t be great for kids - it’s definitely more a spot for grownups- but we have had some wonderful meals in numerous beachfront restaurants, and the staff everywhere have been so friendly. Other than when the kids were little, we have never holidayed at the same place more than once - but we will definitely be returning to Kamari, and this hotel

The staff were very friendly, location is fab and the food was lovely. We were not sure what to have for lunch so just had a picky lunch. The view ftt try on the restaurant is lovely overlooking the beach

We stayed here for a week and were thrilled with our choice of hotel for many reasons. 1) The location is perfect. Right on the beach. 2) Countless restaurants along the promenade outside. 3) Breakfast was served in the beach restaurant and had lots of variety. Great to start your day! 4) The room was quite spacious with very comfortable bed. 5) The shower was the nicest one I’ve ever experienced. Great water pressure and huge shower head. 6) Sheets were changed every day and fresh towels supplied. The floor was mopped and everything left spotless. The lady who cleaned our room was excellent and very friendly. 7) The pool area was also spotless with comfortable sunbeds. The pool itself was lovely , surrounded by flowers and urns. It wasn’t a huge area but it felt very like a garden because of all the greenery. 8) Last but not least , I’d like to thank the lovely staff who looked after us so well. Vasilis who served breakfast every morning and Angel ( very aptly named !) who worked behind the bar. Both guys did an amazing job. Kamari is a lovely place to stay because it’s Santorini but without the throngs of tourist that you see in Fira or Oia. We would definitely stay here again were we to return to Santorini.
