Bit of a panic arriving at Iliada as I'd left my bag on the bus containing my money, our passports... The guy on reception, no problem. While I'm panicking he's unbeknown to me on the phone to the bus company and the driver turned up 5 minutes later with my bag. Great first impression. The hotel was super quiet when we arrived early in the season, I can't imagine it ever gets that noisy as it is set back from the main strip and noisier hotels. The rooms and good, clean, comfortable and stylish, ours with a balcony on the first floor overlooking the courtyard. The service at the pool bar is great, lovely chap from Argentina. Breakfast is a little basic but very acceptable with a good choice of hot and cold food to suit all tastes and nationalities. Only negative and I imagine much of the Island suffers much worse, is the daily influx of loud Americans on a busy schedule, luckily they only tend to stay a dar or two and they get picked up by bus in the morning, disappearing all day and then again at night for meals out so not terrible, just loud for the hour or two they are in the pool whooping, hollering and being generally American.
