We have stayed at Palms before and loved our unit, however, we were very disappointed in Unit B5. Our stay was in July of 2023. The technology was outdated. The website for our arrival information was not user friendly, directions for opening the door were incomplete and the code for the beach gate was on a different page. The Wi-fi information was wrong. The televisions were very small and were not "smart" TV's. There was no channel list or guide so we couldn't pick a channel without scrolling each and every channel. There was no way to stream. We decided to steam on a laptop we brought, but the Wi-Fi was too weak to stream and kept pausing the movie not long after we started. The ice maker did not work. There were no metal utensils to use with the metal cookware. One of the plastic/non-stick utensils was half melted. The bed in the master was only a full size bed. There was no fold out couch. The towel rod in the master bathroom kept falling down. The broom was broken. The good thing was that when we texted Benchmark about the ice maker, they at least came and brought more ice trays :-/ and when we told them about the broom, they brought a brand new one. The start-up shampoos, dish detergent, dish washer pods and washing machine pods provided by Benchmark was nice. Again, a stay we had a couple of years ago at Palms in a unit in one of the other buildings was great! Just avoid B5 unless they upgrade.
