TERRAMIA ESTATE

One of the most relaxing stays we have ever had. The welcoming owners made us feel at home. The room was cosy and the semi outdoor shower was incredible! Plus you can see they put passion and love in everything they do: Such as breakfast! We will be back!!

Amazing stay. Super secluded, wonderful dome, fabulous views, super attentive host/owner. Luxurious while still modest, wonderful food. Daniel recommended a great hike to beautiful waterfalls and took us for a tour of the coffee plantation. Would definitely recommend!! Perfect for families too!

If you are into Eko, but then next level: check-out this place. The estate is a producing coffee farm that also is an eko resort. Apart from bedrooms in the main house, you can also book one of the pods. These globes are situated against the hill and all have ocean view. Not only from your terrace, but also from your bed! The pods a mostly glass, so you can not only watch the stars from your bed, but also sun-up or down. You have a small kitchen, a gasbbq AND a jacuzzi for yourself. I opted for breakfast and dinner included: delicious. Throw in a open air rain shower with limitless hot water and I am hooked! One drawback: no wifi, only at the main house. But some might see this as a plus! I chose to stay at Terramia to recuperate from the hike to La Ciudad Perdida and I couldn’t have chosen a better place.

This is truly an absolutely unique and unreal place to stay. Our only regret was not staying longer. The pods are stunning and very comfortable with all little detail very well thought of. The owners are fantastic, very accommodating and hospitable. And we also loved the dogs. The views are incredible and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck with the sounds of howler monkeys in the backdrop. The meals provided were very tasty. We also enjoyed visiting the local waterfalls, one as part of a tour organised by the hotel and the other very close by and a short hike to see it from the Terramia Estate. If we’d had longer we’d have done the coffee tour and enjoyed the long hike to the top of the mountain for the views. I would highly recommend staying here, it is honestly one-of-a-kind. Terramia is a fantastic place where you can enjoy the Colombian jungle in a luxury way. The glamping is well equiped, includes a kitchen, and has an amazing view. From the outdoor shower you feel that you are in the middle of the jungle and each glamping has an outdoor jacuzzi where you can relax after visiting a coffee finca or treck in the jungle. The food is tasty and all products are local, and the staff is nice and attentive. Don’t hesitate to book your stay in Terramia when visiting the Sierra Nevada or Tayrona Park!

Amazing experience, I’ve never stayed anywhere like this before. Food, dogs and surroundings all amazing. Our hosts were very kind and helpful with all of our requests. Even lending walking boots to one of our party! I would recommend this to anyone, you will not regret it!
