Trekker Glamping

This is a must if you go to Colombia. A beautiful, quiet, safe place to rest and connect with nature. The food is great, all you need is here. Me and my husband went there looking for a nice place to scape and it was absolutely amazing… Alejo and Mia are the best. take a massage and don’t forget to do the hike with the natives Sarkume and her husband, they are so sweet and attentive. I love this place, the cabin was great, the view, especially the sunset is excellent, and the food was superb, I’ve traveled a lot and every meal was 5 star quality. They sent a driver to pick us up from Santa Marta and then their driver took us all the way to Tayrona where we stayed next, very helpful. The only thing to know is accessibility, you gotta take a 4x4 up a bit of a climb (their driver picks you up) so just know what your preferences are, if you’re looking to be in and out to just walk around the town and don’t plan on spending much time at the hotel then be aware of it, but other than that one aspect it’s a great spot.

Magical Experience / Stellar Service . This place is simply perfect. Beautifully built, with exquisite taste in respect and harmony of the environment surrounding the hotel. Such a one in a lifetime experience to sleep at the heart of the jungle, listening to the sound of its wildlife at night and witnessing the jungle waking up at the first lights of dawn. The view over the canopy all the way to the city of Santa Marta is breathtaking. The staff and the owner are absolutely Charming and extremely professional. The service is simply perfect in every aspect . The restaurant offers the most delicious meals and the menu is very diverse and rich of flavors. The wide range of incredible activities around the facility would make you want to stay a whole week. The peace and serenity guaranteed by a limited amount of guests is priceless. I felt healed and fully recharged after this magical experience. I would like to thank Ivan for going over and beyond and ensuring the best experience. Mafé is the gem of this place , such a light and joy. Daniel was so attentive and helpful . Andres was really friendly and professional. I highly recommend to use experience Trekker Glamping at least once in your life .

Superb Glamping experience! The huge, beautifully designed and well equipped pods are just as good in reality as they look in the pictures. Far more enjoyable than most top-end hotel rooms. Enjoy the stunning view from the pod’s private terrace, or the comfy bean bags on a raised indoor platform, or from the luxurious big bed. Who needs curtains when the view is this good and no one can look in? Marvellous dawn chorus (we also heard holwler monkeys - sounding like rushing wind). Good views too from the well placed jaccuzi / pool. Tasty meals in the equally well designed bar / restaurant with reasonably priced wine. Enjoyable local walks with lots to see. We appreciated the knowledge and enthusiasm of our bird-guide, Daniel (28 species within 100 minutes). A special mention too to Jonathan for his warm welcome and to waitress Vanessa, who took excellent care of us at meal times and spoke good, clear English. Be prepared for steep, uneven paths to and from some of the pods. Take care and take time. Note that each pod’s bathroom requires a few outdoor steps. If, like us, you opt to walk up to the site from Minca with back-packs, it’s do-able, but be prepared for a long steep climb. The location on Google Maps is correct but the Komoot location is wrong. Overall, our two night stay has been one of the highlights of our time in lovely Colombia. Not cheap, but well worth the cost. Thank you to everyone at Trekker Glamping.

Wat een fantastisch hotel in de jungle ! Uitzichten zijn adembenemend !! Heerlijk eten en lief personeel Je moet een berg op met veel kuilen maar hadden een hele fijne driver met een jeep wat ik een veilig gevoel vond . Je wordt wakker van het geluid van zoveel verschillende vogels , zo fijn!

C’est encore plus beau que sur les photos! Vues à couper le souffle, de la terrasse comme de l’intérieur, trampoline super pour sieste après rando. Logement hyper confortable, matériaux de qualité, literie comprise. Jacuzzi extra, pour se détendre au coucher du soleil. Super restauration, personnel adorable. Chamallows à griller sur le feu en soirée. N’hésitez pas à réserver une rando avec guide (Camilo, top!), c’est vraiment un plus pour découvrir la culture. Nous sommes enchantés! N’hésitez pas…
