We loved this hotel! its a small & intimate hotel with a friendly, personalised service which feels like a family. The location is central in the bay and perfect for exploring the area. The rooms are spacious and have the most beautiful large balconies which are perfect to relax and admire the view. The pool and sun terrace on the roof is the perfect spot for a swim or an afternoon aperitif. The pool is small and sufficient if you just want a dip. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice. If your looking for small, friendly hotel with good facilities central Located the Laurin is the perfect choice Thankyou

There are many great things about this hotel, but one for sure is the pool on the rooftop at night. We didn't have weather to swim but it was the most beautiful views out into the harbor, with a huge castle on its side. I loved the terraces also to sit and enjoy some wine. The rooms were large, it could do with a few paintings on the walls like there are all over the hotel. The bed was comfortable and bathroom perfect. They left fresh towels every day. The restaurant was excellent that was attached to the hotel entrance. Great when you were tired after a day of touring and didn't want to go far from your hotel. The staff in the breakfast room were very attentive. The people on the front desk were always there to help with information. I would highly recommend this hotel.

In walking distance of shops, restaurants, transport options. No parking at hotel. Very friendly, professional staff. Rooms with small terrace overlooking the port. Small pool on roof terrace, service from downstairs bar available. On a busy road but little traffic at night so sleep is not a problem. Very wide choice of continental breakfast in ground floor bar. Well equipped gym available.

We have just left this hotel after a 14 day holiday which was wonderful.The view over the busy harbour from our 3rd floor balcony was fantastic and so interesting.The balcony was small as was the room but you got used to these.We did look at a larger room with a terrace on the 1st floor but the view was not as good and the extra charge was quite high so decided our high view was better. The bathroom was a decent size and a good shower.Toiletries provided on arrival but not replenished.Shower gel was replaced.Our air conditioning was not working too good however this was fixed when reported.More hangers supplied for the wardrobe.We put our cases on top of the wardrobe which was dusty. The breakfast from 7.30 to 10.30 was very good and lots to choose from and sufficient for our needs.The staff in the breakfast room were pleasant and helpful.There is also a larger breakfast room for eg families. The front desk staff were very helpful at all times eg suggesting where to visit.One lady in particular was fantastic offering where to visit if you have been to the main attraction eg Rapallo funicular.I am sorry but I have forgotten your name.Staff also helpful signing for our case which was lost for 24 hours. The hotel is in the centre so near the ferry,shops, restaurants,train station and beach etc so never far from anything. The owners are Paola and Stefano who are charming.They chatted to us frequently asking if we were enjoying ourselves etc and suggesting places of interest.We ordered a bottle of rose wine for my husband's birthday which arrived with a tray of nibbles and on settling the bill we were told this was a gift and no charge.Paola also gave us a lovely gift to take on our next holiday which was very thoughtful. This is a family business as the owners two daughters also work in the breakfast room and they were lovely. We had a wonderful holiday and would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel in Santa Margherita overlooking the local marina and located only few meters from beach, shopping, restaurants - excellent top roof pool area, amazing breakfast and the friendliest staff you’ll ever meet. Highly recommendable.

The hotel manager is very rude. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but it was a tall middle aged man. He’s respond to our question was very rude and unprofessional. I don’t understand how can such a person work for a hospitality business. Because of him our impression of the hotel overall was very bad. I think the owners of the hotel should reconsider hiring this kind of people!

In the very best location of Santa Margherita, the hotel has fantastic views from the pool deck and from room. Hotel staff are very extremely friendly and helpful also ready help. Breakfast and facilities are fantastic with ma y opinions (coffee is great here). I will definitely recommend it.
