Hotel Metzgerwirt

Very nice new hotel, stylish rooms and comfortable beds... but: bad service, no customer attention. I arrived by motorbike and noticed the garage reserved for motorcycles, I open it but it was entirely occupied by the hotel mini-van. I went to the reception and nobody was there, the guy from the bar arrived and told me that if I want, he will ask to the owner to move the mini-van, but only very late. I decided to park outside, on the street. The hotel has many rooms but few customers (the next morning there were no more than 10 people for breakfast) and they give me a room above the bar and above the hotel entrance. Dinner was served on the outdoor terrace because the restaurant was entirely occupied by a large group of people, including many young boys. Dinner not bad, with a typically Austrian menu, but everything good. The problem is that when the boys went out for smoking, they surrounded my table and many leaned on it without a minimum of education. I mentioned this to the waiter, but he didn't even listen to me, at the end we finished dinner and left quickly. But the worst thing is that I couldn't sleep until 3:00 at night: right in front of the hotel there is another Gasthof and a group of drunk people kept shouting until 2:00, then the hotel bar under my room started to play very loud disco music for the group of guys in the restaurant, who cackled late and at 2:30 they started playing football with empty cans on the asphalt shouting very loud. Impossible to sleep and too hot in the room for closing the window. I tried to call the reception several times to ask if they could at least turn down the music, but no one ever answered. The Metzgerwirt Hotel should be a 4-star hotel, but I have never experienced these horrors, not even in a 2-star hotel. This was probably the worst stay I have had in many years in Austria, completely rejected!

Selten so schlecht gegessen. Meine Frau bestellte sich ein Metzgerwirt Backhendl mit Kartoffel Vogerlsalat. Die Oberkeule war sicherlich nicht frisch paniert (Fertiggericht? ), der Kartoffelsalat schmeckte ebenfalls wie ein Fertiggericht. Ich bestellte mir die Pinzgauer Kasnocken, diese sind im Fett geschwommen. Die Dressing meines Salates schmeckte ebenfalls wie industriell hergestellt. Als Hobbyköche können wir die Speisen sicherlich wie oben beschrieben bewerten.
