Sunset Beach Inn

This resort is absolutely perfect for a relaxed beach vacation. The proximity to the beach can’t be understated. Our (screened) balcony was only feet from the beach. It was a perfect place to cool off. Lounges and umbrellas are set up by staff. Kayaks and bicycles easily borrowed. The sister properties also have amenities that can be used. The room had everything - two double beds, a lounge chair with ottoman, a fully supplied kitchen, and a lovely bathroom supplied with hygiene items. The pick up breakfast is perfect - bagels, pastries, cereal, yugurt, assorted milk and juices. The staff was hugely accommodating. I loved the ease of communication with texting. It was a perfect stay!

We live 30 minutes away but with a young family, Sanibel is the ultimate family staycation. We go every year and sometimes twice a year. We typically stay a Seaside inn one of the sister hotels, but I noticed the Sunset Beach inn was significantly cheaper. Since I love this company, I figured we would save the money and stay here. Honestly all of the hotels are rustic no matter how much you pay. This place has free use of tennis courts, bikes, kayaks, bocce and not to mention right on the beach and beachfront pool. Yes the pool needs renovations but the view is incredible. Our room was HUGE, was it fancy? No but clean and 250 for a huge room compared to 400 for the sister hotel.. I'll stay here everytime. The free breakfast is also a hit. This place is a hidden gem. The only fear I have is that they are renovating and prices will increase. But for now. Stay here for the pool, huge rooms, beachfront, breakfast and great price!!!

We were gifted a holiday weekend in Sanibel by friends and had no idea what to expect. We LOVED it. The staff was wonderful and the rooms were spacious with lots of kitchen space and a full-size refrigerator to store our leftovers from eating out each evening. The pool was nice and we were just steps from the gulf waters and a wonderful experience finding shells for my wife, who makes gifts out of them. I highly recommend it!!!

My wife and i travelled there with my brother and sister in law. We were pleasantly surprised about the facility. The room was clean and very comfortable and provided us with some privacy also. The beach is literally right out the back door and is gorgeous. There are several very nice restaurants just a few minutes away and all of the food was delicious. Make sure and visit the light house beach its a beautiful area.

Need help!! Paid for 8 nights months ago for February 2023. Vendor hotel uses will not allow me to alter or cancel my reservation even though Inn is closed and won reopen till long past my reservation. I have called company that does their reservations twice. Help is appropriated. Thanks!!

The amenities were excellent. Good morning grab a breakfast was fun and substantial. The accommodations were as expected and more. The beach was a stones throw from the hotel, shells were plentiful. Most of all Jason’s customer service went beyond expectations. We stayed at the Sunset Beach Inn previously, and continue to do so because of its quality.
