Travelodge Sandwich

A great experience booking (although surprising expensive at £144) Room very spacious and extremely clean. It was super hot outside and the aircon worked well. But the negative is that the windows aren’t that insulated and we were woken several times in the night by revving motors and loud vehicle noise from cars racing. In the morning we could see tyre/skids marks in the car park at the back of the hotel and the roundabout leading in. The hotel was convenient for Broadstairs where we were going the next day, but it was quite expensive on a Saturday night . I’m not sure i’d chance a sleepless night again as the industrial area the hotel is in is open with nothing to stop similar behaviour.

Nice location and quiet location. Good experience and service. Kitchen staff - Andrea was so nice and lovely. Made me feel welcome.

Air conditioning not working, smelt of very strong onions when turned on, room wasn't cleaned or tea/coffee replaced for next mornings tea.

Me and my little boy regularly come for breakfast. It is a welcoming, clean and well run restaurant. Andrea is particularly lovely and helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble

I was very impressed & haven’t stayed here before…. The cleanliness was excellent, the bed was very comfortable & Boo and I really enjoyed our stay….A particularly lovely member of staff was Andrea, who took care of breakfast & was very attentive…. Boo loved his sausage and bacon & I loved my breakfast as well…. I will definitely return….

What a pleasure to stay at this hotel. We regularly use Travelodge as their family rooms suit our requirements for our special needs daughter. However, the main reason for this post was the exemplary customer service from the evening receptionist, Reese. We turned up at 10.45pm, he checked us in and offered to help unload the luggage from the van, opened doors to assist easy passage with the wheelchair and polite and informative. So heartening to experience such humanist service. Top marks to him and trust Travelodge management suitably recognises his capability. Well done and thank you.
