Premier Inn Isle of Wight, Sandown (Seafront)

Nice room, peaceful comfortable night. But alas morning shower and one towel for both of us. Sorry but not good enough.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..................................................................

We arrived and were booked in by Waqar. He was welcoming and booked us in quickly and efficiently. We requested a room with a sea view, this meant a change to the room we had been allocated. Waqar and his colleague Phil were happy to change the room, with Phil quickly making up the second bed as we needed a twin. Waqar and Phil did everything they could to make us feel welcome and ensure we had the right room - Well done and thanks

We arrived at Premier Inn in Sandown on a Sunday evening, having been booked into the Channel View Hotel, which was securely locked up when we arrived and nobody answered our phone calls. We were freezing, angry and very tired as we had travelled from London (and one of our group was a wheelchair user) but the welcome at Premier Inn on the seafront could not have been warmer. Daisy went out of her way to welcome us, found us a beautiful room with a sea view and had us checked in and in our room within ten minutes. When we went down to see about food, again, Daisy had us booked in and sitting in the restaurant within minutes. Zane was our waiter for the evening and he was the friendliest, most helpful waiter I have met in recent times, between both of them they managed to turn our disastrous evening into a most enjoyable experience. We will definitely be going back. Thank you both.

Having a great stay, Waqar on reception was brilliant and the room is comfy and clean, looking forward to the plant based breakfast and dinner options on offer at the restaurant, had a lovely and fresh Guinness at an excellent pric, recommended.

A party of six of us stayed here for 3 nights in February. We have used Premier Inns many times over the last 20 years or so. Without doubt this is the worst one we have ever stayed in. Premier Inn's standards seem to have dropped considerably in the last few years. The room my wife and I had was pokey with such a poor effort of a wardrobe we had to live out of our suitcase for the three days. We asked for our room to be serviced on three separate occasions and it never happened at all. We paid for two nights meal deals and while the breakfast was good the dinner was awful. Burgers were raw and bloody and obviously microwaved. The dessert was so hot it blistered the roof of my mouth. We cancelled the second night's meal deals and were promised the refund would come through in 3 to 5 days. I am still waiting 10 days later. The management leaves a lot to be desired and we will never stay at this particular Premier Inn again.

We had high expectations for this stay as we had seen the building being constructed not that many years ago. However, we had a very small room, with no ventilation, unusable wi-fi, a w-shaped mattress, 4 lumpy pillows, good shower (!), a good view of the beach from the small window (but not worth the £5 extra per night), TV missing channel 4, no 4G or 5G available. We knew there was no parking and found places to park the car in the town, which would be more difficult during peak times. We have been to the Premier Inn at Lake and that was good, we won't use this one again.
