First of all, the staff seemed nice. Checkin and out were pleasant, and without issue. Our problem was that this Motel 6 (and maybe others) seem to have a very inconsistent deployment of mini-fridges and Microwaves. When we booked, it seemed to indicate that the room had these, but apparently, only the ADA accessible rooms have them. This was in pretty fine print when booking. We were staying on the coast for a few days, and made this our base, but being unable to keep any food cool or heat anything up was a problem. The rooms don't have any way to boil water, either, so making coffee is a multi-trip ordeal to the front, heating water in the single tiny, weak, microwave in the common area. Parking was plentiful. There weren't many people there, but the thin walls enabled us to hear everything on our floor, including many barking dogs. Water pressure in the shower was good, and hot water plentiful. Half the snack machines were unstocked. The restaurant was shuttered. Room was clean. There were only a couple outlets in the room, although there were 7 blank wall plates, where outlets might have been at one point.
