Camping Merendella

I was highly disappointed with our so-called privileged pitch 431, which does not match what was mis-sold to me online. Despite paying an additional fee for this specific location, all we can see from our pitch is a wooden hut and a restaurant. The advertised pictures online painted a completely different picture, showcasing a serene landscape that we have not experienced. Moreover, the pathway in front of us seems to be a popular shortcut for people, which has dramatically compromised our privacy. This constant foot traffic has made it challenging to relax and enjoy our surroundings. Additionally, the staff members, dressed in black t-shirts with green trim, have taken advantage of the tree in front of us for shade while smoking. Unfortunately, their smoking fills the air with a rather unpleasant smell, further detracting from our camping experience. On top of the disappointing pitch, I must mention with the state of the toilets, and I completely agree, particularly with the ones featuring the yellow door. It is disheartening to see such unclean and unpleasant facilities in what is supposedly a high-end location. Furthermore, the designated area for washing dishes is covered in mud, rendering it incredibly unhygienic. I was moved on after just one drink in the bar, unable to continue watching the animation as I was not buying another drink. This felt quite unreasonable and left me frustrated, as I had anticipated a relaxing evening. The pool with a slide for children was only open from 2 PM, which was not mentioned on the website. This limited schedule was disappointing, especially as it would have been ideal for the kids to have more access during the warmer parts of the day. The same issue arose with the gym, which opened at 10 AM. This timing is quite late if you wish to train when it’s cooler in the morning. I was also told I would receive a partial refund due to the incorrect pitch description, but two weeks later, I'm still waiting. This delay only adds to my disappointment in what was supposed to be a 4-star camping experience. All these factors have combined to create an experience that has fallen far short of our expectations, leaving us feeling let down and frustrated during what was supposed to be a pleasant getaway.

great location. Although we have no children theres is plenty for children and families to do with the water park and slide. Animation, Fitness room, and pool area. Beach is stoney but once you leave the shore sandy. Fresh baguette and croissants available at the beach bar, with a nice coffee to start the day. After a 20min walk along the beach you can go to the butches with good meats, and the Casino Supermarket. Lodge was almost direct on beach with great morning views if sunrise. Lodge was not really clean so cleaned myself. Some technical problems but the electrician was on holiday so the next guest will have the benefit. Moved lodge away from Bar as it was too loud during the day and nights. Well equipped for campers with fridge’s to rent at the plot. Picnic bench for each plot.

Nous y sommes venus deux fois ... La 1ere du 29 Juin au 6 Juillet, en Lodge Prestige Natura, et la 2nde, en Chalet Muntagna, pour le même résultat : des vacances au top ! Concernant les logements, le 1er est du haut de gamme, récent et très spatieux ! Le second est certes vieillissant, plus petit mais largement suffisant pour nous ! Le camping est très bien agencé et soigné, très ombragé ! L'accrobranche est le paradis des enfants ! La piscine est plus petite que dans d'autres campings, mais les toboggans ont ravi toute la famille ! Il y a des activités pour tout le monde : petits, ados et adultes ! Pour le personnel, nous avons été très bien accueilli, que ce soit à la réception ou à la restauration ( où nous avons d'ailleurs très bien mangé ) ! Les maitres nageurs font respecter le règlement à la piscine, mais avec toujours de la bienveillance pour les vacanciers que nous sommes ! L'équipe d'animation a été incroyable : Dimitri, Coco, Victor, et Florine sont un exemple de partage et de générosité ! Toujours la pêche , toujours le sourire ! Bravo et merci à eux ! J'aimerai mentionner également la Directrice adjointe ( dont j'ai oublié le prénom) , attentive aux clients, souriante et pleine de peps ! Pour conclure, je dirai que ce camping propose tout ce dont on a besoin pour passer de superbes vacances en famille !
