Mediterranee Family Hotel & Spa

The hotel seems to be quite new and modern. Our room was really comfortable with a big balcony, integrated kitchen unit and a small fridge. It was even air-conditioned which was a big plus. The cleaning Personal was working every day to keep everything clean and nice, which is in a family hotel a challenge for sure. Nevertheless the complete staff was always friendly. Another advantage is the location of the hotel. It’s placed close to the beach, by foot you can reach it within five minutes. And the hotel holds a separate, private beach area which is only accessible for hotel guests. It was always easy for us to find free sun loungers and sun shades, even when we arrived after lunch. As an alternative the hotel provides also a pool landscape. So if you need a pause from the beach you can easily relax at the hotels pool which is free of usage for guests. On the negative side it’s worth to mention the stench in the hotel lobby. Not sure where it comes from, but at nearly everytime of the day the stench (smelled a bit like something rotten) hits your nose quite bad. Also the kids‘ room has left a bad impression. It’s placed next to the pool which is fine, but most of the stuff inside the room is already broken and nearly unusable. When we once entered the room it strongly smelled like pee. But the biggest problem is the situation at the dinner. The hotel promotes its dinner buffet, but as a matter of fact it is not able to handle the amount of guests. All are very hectically, running around and at the show cooking stations (to be clear: most of the time it’s pasta with oil and garlic) you have to wait for ages at peek times. And be aware of the grumpy bald guy who talks to the other staff like he is a slavedriver. I understand that there must be a boss and someone who steers everything, but as a guest I’m not interested in seeing that. It should be done without impacting the atmosphere at a dinner. The offered food for kids is a joke. Most of the time it’s only pasta with tomato sauce. Once they provided sausages and once schnitzel. That’s not what I expect as state of the art food for my kids in terms of healthy and vital. For adults it seems the Dinner responsible tries to provide a variation of basically everything, as long as it is not Italian. Unfortunately most of the things are not really good. All in all the hotel is absolutely recommendable and worth the money. The staff, the rooms, the cleanliness and the location are such a big plus. We enjoyed every minute, apart from the dinner. We will come back for sure, but next time we will book only breakfast and go outside for dinner.

Wir hatten 10 Tage mit Frühstück gebucht und waren absolut zufrieden. Der Empfang herzlich und deutschsprachig. Parkplätze ausreichend direkt am Hotel vorhanden. Das Zimmer sehr gut (bis auf das offen gestaltete Bad, das ist Geschmackssache). Frühstück prima. Sehr schöner Innen- und Außenpool. Whirlpool auf der Terrasse mit herrlichen Weitblick ein Traum. Sauberkeit top. Hoteleigener Strandabschnitt nur ein paar Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Restaurants in der Umgebung vorhanden aber meist nichts besonderes. Supermärkte und kleinere Läden ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar. Auf dem Hoteldach befindet sich eine sehr stylische Bar. Sehr freundliche Animation und Kinderbetreuug vorhanden.

Mangelnde Freundlichkeit und fehlendes Interesse an Bedürfnissen der Gäste seitens des Personals Balkon aufgrund fehlendes Sonnenschrims nicht nutzbar (extreme Hitze) Speisen immer unzureichend gekühlt (Käse, Wurst, Proschiutto schwitzen, rohes Fleisch/roher Fisch stehen ungekühlt im Kochbereich beim Abendessen herum, Milch meistens sauer), Obst und Gemüse wirken nicht frisch, schimmeln zum Teil, Lebensmittel nicht ausreichend gekennzeichnet (Allergene, Name des Lebensmittels etc.) keine veganen, vegetarischen bzw glutenfreien Speisen verdrecktes Geschirr fehlende Hygiene beim Küchenpersonal (Schweißtuch wird auf Arbeitsplatte beim Zubereiten der Speisen gelegt), fehlendes Essen wird trotz Nachfrage nicht aufgefüllt, da das Personal kein Deutsch versteht Kein Erkennungszeichen für all inclusive und keine Getränke am Strand wie bei all inclusive üblich. Auch die all inclusive Büffets entsprechen nicht den üblichen all inclusive Standards, daher downgrade nach dem 1 Urlaubstag Keine Ausflüge untertags möglich, da sonst der versprochen Parkplatz weg ist weil zu wenige vorhanden sind Zimmer sind teilweise auch nachmittags nicht gereinigt Das einzig positive war das top moderinisierte Zimmer, der nahegelegene, saubere Strand inkl. Sonnenschirm und 2 Liegen
