Be our guest and stay awhile in this cottage located in Cape Royale, a peaceful, security guard-gated community with direct access to Lake Livingston.
After a fun-filled day, unwind in this beautiful cottage nestled by tall pine trees and nature sounds. The home includes two bedrooms with queen size beds, two full size restrooms, kitchen with electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer and free wi-fi.
Just a two minute drive to the Cape Royale Marina and walking distance to community amenities such as swimming pool, park with playground, basketball and tennis courts.
Enjoy nearby attractions such as Lake Livingston, where you can fish, boat, jet ski, paddle board or the Sam Houston National Forest where you can hike, bike, picnic or bird watch. The driveway entry needs to be redone. Our car bottomed out if we did not enter at a good angle. No hairdryers tho it said there would be in the bathrooms.

Cute Cottage
Very clean and comfortable but without a doubt, the most beautifully decorated rental we have ever stayed in anywhere! The pictures online do not do it justice. Would definitely stay there again : )

Relaxing Weekend Getaway
We loved our weekend stay here! The cottage was beautiful and the location was peaceful and private. The gated neighborhood also had great amenities and was perfect for taking long walks and enjoying nature.

Very nicely furnished cottage
My adult children and their adult sons stayed the night and really liked the property and said it was very attractive. I stayed with friends that live in Point Blank. All enjoyed a gathering with family and friends. We hope to come for another stay

Big Space in a little Cabin
Friends,
Let’s just say this might be one of our favorite VRBOs so far.
First, huge thanks to Walter and Rosa. They were so responsive, understanding, and accommodating. We had to alter our dates slightly due to our daughter catching the flu, and Castillo’s were able to help. From adjusting our dates, to check in, to getting the Wi-Fi set up, someone always responded so quickly. They truly made the process easy.
About the cabin…it’s brilliant. So much space in a cozy place. The open floor plan was our favorite, with the kitchen, dining, and living areas all together. The finishes were very recently updated, the style was modern, and it was super clean. The neighborhood was quiet, but close to the lake and the playground. It’s only 5 or so minutes to the quaint town of Coldspring.
This little cabin in the woods has a lot to offer for a quiet family getaway. And please drive carefully around dusk. The white tail deer were everywhere.
