This is a gem located in the middle of San Ignacio. I was a bit unsure about it when I discovered that it was located above a furniture store but once I was inside I found it to be very modern and well appointed. It has a nice little bar that I would stop at to get a Belikin beer in the afternoon. The rooms were quite nice with a very comfortable bed and an assortment of pillows from soft to hard. The location was near the tour companies that we used while there. The employees were very helpful in directing us to the best restaurants that were within walking distance during our four night stay. I would recommend it.

We picked West House for it's central location in San Ignacio and near tour companies. But we found that it was much more. The hotel is on the floors above commercial businesses including a nice coffee shop The Daily Grind. The offer a bar with mixed drinks and beer. The folks that opperate it are very friendly and know the restaurants nearby which were excellent. The rooms were modern and very pleasant. The bed was perfect with a variety of soft and firm pillows to choose from. The view from the balcony wasn't great but it isn't in a big rich metropolis which was fine with us. I would definitely stay again.

I highly recommend staying here. The rooms, beds, common areas, and staff are all excellent! The rooms and entry/bar area are spacious and full or light. The sink is outside of the tub/toilet area which I prefer. The staff is terrific - they even talked us back to the hotel when our navigation apps kept taking us to a closed bridge. Because there are few street signs, they had to stay on the phone describing what we should see and where to turn! There is always someone to help or answer a question and even a night guard.

What a find. All very new and you have everything you need in your room. Large room with plenty of space. Nice bar areas to sit where you can get drinks. The staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough to help. Loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

Very clean rooms and facilities! The staff were super friendly and helpful with any questions regarding San Ignacio. The rum punch welcome drinks were a perfect way to sit on the patio and relax. Hotel has a community water station and well stocked bar. We will stay here again.

My 5 night stay at the West House was fantastic. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. They were happy to give recommendations or call ahead to set a dinner reservation for you.The room was spotless and the king bed was super comfortable. Water pressure and temperature were great in the shower. They offered a filtered water station out in the hall. This hotel is right on the outskirts of the little pedestrian business area, less than a 5 minute walk. This is as close to a 5 star experience as you can get in San Ignacio without staying at one of the resorts.

The hotel is in a great central location convenient for several restaurants. Very good reception on arrival. Rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean and modern. Everything about the room oozes quality with premium furniture, comfortable bed, good quality toiletries, large tv with streaming facilities. Room is well equipped with air conditioning, fan, refrigerator, coffee machine and safe; there is filtered water available 24 hours a day. The hotel does not provide breakfast but there are several good options within five minutes’ walk. There is a bar area with seating for relaxing in the evening. This was one of the best accommodations of our Central America trip.

This hotel is located in a walkable neighborhood with plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. The rooms are spacious and brand new, very well maintained. The highlight of this hotel is Jilda who was the most amazing host. Jilda was sweet and so helpful. Jilda went above and beyond to make sure my husband could have a birthday surprise waiting for me at check in. She was also so wonderful to chat with about Belize and the surrounding area. Jilda

The hotel is modern and beautifully updated. It had only been open about 6 months when we visited the 1st week of December. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. They would call ahead and book dinner reservations for us. Only caution is the hotel is up a flight of stairs, with no elevator. However, the staff came outside in the pouring rain to offer us assistance with luggage. Downstairs, and affiliated with the hotel is a wonderful coffee shop where we enjoyed some delicious afternoon treats and lattes. The hotel has an open air lobby sitting area where you can order a cocktail and sit to enjoy it and visit. Not sure what it will be like in the the hat season as we it rained most of the time we were there.
