We were excited to find an option in San Francisco with a shared kitchen so that we could prepare our own food while there. The self-check-in scenario didn't scare us off but perhaps it should have. What follows is a lot of problems, but overall, the experience at the Kasa La Monarca was not terrible. It just really did not meet reasonable expectations of a hotel. Think of this hotel as an expensive youth hostel with private bathrooms. Our experience began with getting an update less than 48 hours before arrival that the elevator was not in service. We called immediately and were moved down from the 6th to the 3rd floor, but would not have been able to cancel as it was within the 48 hour cancellation period. We were assured that no other services were impacted. When we arrived, we realized that our bed was downgraded from king to queen, but were still happy with the shared kitchen offering. Unfortunately, the next morning, we realized that the oven and stovetop was off during the day, due to the workers fixing the crumbling wall that was the cause of the elevator interruption. Our room did not seem to have HVAC at all, as it was hot during the afternoon and evening and then dropped to very cold temperatures at night. We asked for an additional cover the third night to deal with the cold. They could not provide the extra cover that night, as their staff was already offsite. The next day when we returned to the suite, there was no cover, so we texted and were told to go to the housekeeping closet with an entry code - to no avail as there was no cover there either. It was again too late for them to deliver a cover, so we were promised tomorrow again. The next day when we returned to the room there was a sheet in a bag left outside the room, not a cover. It was again too late for them to deliver a cover, so we were promised tomorrow a third time. The next day we relaxed for the morning, and before leaving in the afternoon, I went looking for a staff member to ask for a cover. We finally got an additional cover halfway through our stay. Given the style of hotel relations to guests, you would expect their communications to be exceptionally good. However, they often have significant mistakes. One was a message confirming our check in time for the WRONG hotel, forcing us to call them to confirm that we were not rebooked into a different hotel entirely. The APEC summit was held nearby in San Francisco. Despite all of the local businesses having been provided advance warning of potential impacts, Kasa did not think it would be important to provide their guests any information. The front door lock is finnicky and results in many guests stuck outside for a while when they first arrive, unless another guest happens to be in the lobby to help them. The pictures shown online have either been taken with lots of additional light or photoshopped - not sure this is much different from other hotels, though it is also misleading. Hotel muy guay, el vestíbulo es precioso, el bar de la azotea merece una visita. La habitación tamaño king es pequeña pero muy regular. Recomendado / Algunos vagabundos cercanos. Nada malo / 8/10

Muy conveniente. Muy cómoda. No se puede estar mejor situado en la ciudad. Todo es una piedra tirar. El personal no puede ser más útil para hacer nuestra estadía agradable. El hotel es literalmente un lugar de estancia y dormitorio, pero restaurantes y cenas en todo el mundo, por lo que no es un problema.

El hotel en la ciudad de Liu, estacionamiento $70 / noche, el estacionamiento junto a él tiene un precio, ¥40 / noche, el precio de los frutos de mar en el fin de semana. Es conveniente viajar, y las piernas son muy fuertes para caminar hacia el puerto de la gente. Envíe dos billetes de coche gratuitos de un solo viaje La habitación está limpia.

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena y conveniente, hay supermercados, centros comerciales cerca, se puede ir caminando en teleférico, también hay un centro de alquiler de autos en el segundo piso, ¡lo cual es muy conveniente!

Fisherman's Wharf
Nos quedamos sólo una noche, pero fue ideal para atrapar el salto en el autobús y caminar a pie a pie de los piers en Fisherman's Wharf. No se sirvió desayuno, ya que se estaban realizando renovaciones, pero encontrábamos un gran café cercano que sirvió un gran desayuno. Pensé que era muy caro para las instalaciones disponibles, pero lo reservamos a consejo de nuestro agente de viajes que también había permanecido allí y aconsejamos que el precio era medio para un hotel americano cerca de Fisherman's Wharf.
