Beachfront property with great pools and beachfront restaurant for great sunset cocktails. However the property is showing many signs of aging. In my opinion, an uplifting renovation is needed. The staff are all very attentive and requests are responded promptly. I had to request another room the next morning as the moldy smell of the ac is making me sneeze all night. Within the hour I was relocated to another room with an ocean view and overlooking the pools. Our request for a “tabo” was granted asap and I think that made our stay on the positive side. Little cons for improvement: face towel torn with holes, no smart tv with netflix, bad tv location in room, dirty smelly canal beside Coast restaurant, letting guests use pool with their street clothes on, hawkers on the beach, access road to the property is too narrow, hallways unlit, elevators not cleaned often, only 4 hangers, no microwave, outside food not allowed, tap water not potable and only 1 drinking water station each floor, no hand held shower head and a room safety deposit box that took 3 staff to get it operational.

El hotel está muy limpio y acogedor. El desayuno platado se sirve sabores buenos y se sirve lo suficiente. El personal es muy útil y trabaja con integridad, especialmente cuando dejé mi anillo en la habitación durante el check-out. No hay nevera, televisión, ni secador de pelo. Pero hay calderas eléctricas, muñecas, gafas, toallas de baño y toallas. También tienen fuerte conexión WIFI. El hotel no es un hotel típico donde se puede esperar que alguien te ayude en cualquier momento, así que maneje tu expectativa, especialmente cuando vuelve tarde del exterior, ya que necesita usar el campanario de la puerta para que el cuidador abra la puerta principal para ti. No es un problema para nosotros, ya que el cuidador es lo suficientemente atento para ayudar. La única mejora que se puede pedir sería instalar cortinas más espesas para una mejor privacidad y una experiencia más relajada, ya que puede bloquear la iluminación y el ruido del exterior. Ubicación muy accesible, hay un parque de comida cerca. También está cerca del mercado, por lo que incluso si paseas por otro lugar, ya eres un ganador allí. Limpieza, viejo, ¿qué más esperas? Se puede tolerar. No recomendable para gente artística. No tienen ascensor. Por lo que no es recomendable llevar mucho. No estrictamente para visitantes, solo despídete como nosotros que fuimos al extranjero para perforarnos el cuerpo. El aire acondicionado es débil, porque es pequeño. No se ajusta al tamaño de la habitación. Pero La Unión es fría, así que mola.

No hay electricidad ni agua en la primera noche y este es el único hotel que no tiene generador. Aún así, hotel limpio y bueno. El único problema es la electricidad y el agua para la primera noche que nos quedamos allí.

Location 180 is just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. It is very minimalistic and has a nice cozy garden which allows for nice quiet mornings. It's a basic room with a private toilet and bath and it is kept very clean. Our host, Jeff, was very accommodating and friendly and was very easy to deal with. I'd say its good value for money.
