I have been a pretty consistent user of Holiday Inn. This was by far the absolute worst!! The elevator smelled horrible. I was actually gagging and had to hold my breath so as not to throw up. I got to my room, after a long drive needed to use the toilet. I did...(number 1, nothing heavy) and flushed. I proceed the sink to wash my hands and use a washcloth to wipe my face. I notice in the reflection of the mirror that the tissue has not gone down. So I flush again. Unfortunately instead of the water going down as it should, it began to rise. Thankfully it stopped just before the point of overflowing. I take my stuff and go to the front desk, inform them the toilet is broken and I need another room. I am given a new room and when I get in there is hair in the sink :/ I have now gone up and down that elevator three times, my stomach is roiling from the smell and the thought of doing it again is too much. I was so turned off my the room the lack of cleanliness and the foul smelling elevator I did not even spend the night. I quickly showered (with my flip flops on) and took all my belongings with me. Met up my friend and when the concert was over a little before 10 opted to drive all the way back to SoCal instead on sleeping in that hotel
