Castello di Bibbione

We visited for a week for a family wedding in May. We stayed in stand alone medieval home equipped with a kitchen, sitting room and bedroom. We had an outdoor space to enjoy breakfast or to just relax. It was absolutely charming. Every guest of ours had a nice private place equipped with a kitchen and all the comforts of home. The castle is magical and a perfect place for a romantic wedding. The views were absolutely gorgeous overlooking beautiful Tuscany. The staff were amazing from check in to check out. I highly recommend.

Currently staying at Castello di Bibbione for 7 nights, this property is just as delightful as it appears in brochure photos. Members of the family who own the castle greeted us warmly at reception and were very helpful in explaining all of the amenities available. In addition, we could also park our car closer to the apartment making unpacking easier. Comprising of 15 apartments, we chose Deluxe accommodation with one double room (La Torretta) for a family of four. Spread over two floors, it very much reflects the traditional feel of Tuscany is neat, clean and fully equipped for a longer stay. As an older properly it does (not yet) have air-conditioning but, the family have plans to introduce this and, even in a 40+ degree heat, the thick walls of the apartment and supplied fans (on both levels) meant that we kept cool. After check-in, an unforseen issue was that the fridge freezer was not working properly. This was important for us as we also planned to buy and cook food during our holiday. Immediately we were offered a couple of solutions and agreed upon a change of apartment as, although a replacement fridge would be bought immediately, it could not be delivered and installed for a couple of days (as we arrived on Saturday). And, as well as changing apartments, a complimentary breakfast for one day was also given. This is the difference between a large luxury chain hotel (where you are just one of many guests) vs a family run business where they care about your experience and happiness on holiday. On the day we arrived they also have a wedding reception. We saw how the venue was set up beautifully and were very impressed with the Bibbione's romantic setting. We will return for sure!

We recently had our wedding at Castello Di Bibbione. Although the location and surroundings are truly stunning, this is unfortunately ruined by the staff and owner. From beginning to end they have tried to deceive us and there were many hidden costs that they left until the last minute to inform us about. We of course had no choice but to pay! The accommodations are very old and there is no AC. They also have an insect issue, including giant nocturnal hornets. Clearly, they do not care about the comfort of their guests and have made no effort to upgrade/ maintain the accommodations. They provide NOTHING and you cannot buy even water onsite. The local shop is about 15-20 minutes away by car. You cannot get anywhere without a car and local taxis are extortionate. The final straw is they fabricated a story about a lost childrens bike and then illegally took EURO 100 from my mothers' credit card. Duirng the 3 day stay, 2 bikes were borrowed by other guests and returned upon check out. They confirmed all was ok and then 3 days later took the amount from my mother's card without any conversation/ authorisation and who had not so much as touched a bike during her stay. She had given her card for her own room as a deposit. Upon check out, she was told everything was fine and there would be no deductions. They are not avoiding our calls, emails, and messages and refusing to refund the amount they have stolen. We are disgusted and cannot believe how unprofessional they are. Please do not trust or believe anything they say. They are greedy liars and the most dishonest, rude people I have ever dealt with.

This was my second stay at Castello Bibbione. Whether you choose to stay in the castle or in one of the apartments on the property, you will delight in the surroundings. This time I rented 2 apartments for my family. The 2 bedroom 2 bath was magnificent! Plenty of room for 4 people. It had a very large living room, big eat in kitchen, lovely patio and large bedrooms. It was extremley clean and so authentic My gown kids adored at.

Sono stato in questo struttura per una settimana con la mia famiglia . Siamo stati bene, lovation molto bella , piscina ben tenuta, pero secondo me si potrebbero migliorare il servizio colazione e inserire la ristorazione e un servizio bar

Sono stato in questo magico posto per un matrimonio, e grazie all’occasione ho avuto la possibilità di girarlo in lungo e in largo. Molto curato nei dettagli, con ambienti e giardini molto spaziosi. Sono presenti anche alcune case in cui poter alloggiare. Consigliato per eventi
