Fairfield Inn & Suites San Antonio North/Stone Oak

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was average. Coffee in room was terrible. I could not drink it. Not the best location as restaurants weee on the other side of the highway. Not an easy location to get too. Service was good. Price was very good.

Owner refuses to allow local residents to book this hotel, unacceptable! My reservation was cancelled without notifying me! As a platinum Marriot member, I will never stay in this hotel or recommend it to any co-workers, friends, or family!

I've stayed in much worse marriott's. Our room was clean. As was everywhere we went. A few thing in the place werr dated. Pool and hot tub was closed. The water was circulating and there was no apparent damage but it was closed. Breakfast was close but could use a few little niceties. A ok rateing though. At check in the man working went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Several times i went down to the car if he wasn't working behind the desk he was out in the lobby arranging things and cleaning up. My biggest complaint is the hotels proximity to the very noisy highway. It was noisy all night I would suggest you ask for a room in the back or bring ear plugs.

Friendly staff! Check-in seemed to take longer than normal. Elevator is slow. Our room was clean and we had plenty of pillows. There are no available electric outlets next to bed near the night sand and no USB outlets. Shower curtain is too short and hangs over the edge of the bath tub. Everything worked as expected - fridge, microwave, shower, etc. We stayed two nights. The hallway was very noisy the first night but quiet the second night. There is hot water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate available 24 hours near the front desk. It is possible to walk to fast food options 1/3 of a mile to the east.

We stayed Monday-Friday so my husband could work and had his company Christmas party. Everything was good until day of checkout. My husband had to work, got late checkout approved from front desk, gentlemen said he put a note on the account. At 11:06 housekeeping comes to the door and I explained we had late checkout. 12:00 housekeeping manager comes to the door and very rudely says you have to get out of the room now, I explained my husband was working but would be there soon, she said you have to get out now. The elevator is broke and we are on the third floor, I can’t carry all the luggage snd I have a bad shoulder and back. I go downstairs and ask for help to which she very rudely says talk to the front desk. Luckily, my husband walks in and we go to the room. They had already shut off the key, he goes back down and the guy who approved the late checkout says hes sorry they shouldn’t have done that then he snd the other lady at the desk argue about who is right. We get our stuff and as we are walking out of the room the housekeeping manager and her worker are facing another room, I comment that I have never been treated so poorly and she whips around and says you dont talk to me like that then her worker starts in and both are basically telling me off. We are still trying to wrap our heads around what took place. Unbelievable.

I didn't get the expected service from the Marriott brand. The bathroom had dirt and hair on the floor. First I asked to have the room cleaned, then I asked for a change of room and finally to talk to the manager; none of the 3 concerns were solved. I talked to one of the workers of the hotel and he told me that he was sorry for me because the staff was always like this, lazy and didn’t solve problems.
