"Samian Mare We stayed next door in the Erato (I have reviewed this separately), but it is part of Samian Mare Hotel. Everything we used, food, drink, entertainment etc we had to go to Samian Mare Hotel which is literally next door. Can’t comment on the hotel per se as we didn’t stay there but can only comment on the parts of Samian Mare we did use. Food We ate each day at the Samian Mare as part of our all-inclusive package. Apparently they will prepare a food basket to take with you if you’re going out for the day. Lovely selection for breakfast, hot and cold, salads, meats, cheese, couldn’t fault it. Such a full selection for lunch, something for everyone I felt. Presented nicely and replenish with frequency. Evening Meal, again couldn’t fault it, fantastic selection of tasty cuisine. Snacks apparently, but we didn’t see any. Ice cream, which wasn’t best quality was only available 16.00-17.00. The none smoking areas outside were very small. That area needs to be extended and separate from the smokers, it was horrible. The buffet area was inside and out (out had plenty of shade). The tiles were like ice once wet and after a bit of rain one day, I slipped even though I had rubber shoes on. Drinks, Tea/coffee (if you wanted decent premium coffee, you had to pay for it) If you want real orange juice, again you have to pay for this. Beers were all day suppa’s but drinkable, white/red local wine, quite nice and again drinkable. Cocktails made with local spirits, which were not my taste. Premium spirits again payable, not really all inclusive. Entertainment Only stayed one evening, traditional Greek Dancing and it was really good and fun. Not a lot is happening in the evening. Many guests playing cards sitting around the bar area. We walked around most evenings. Bus transfer from the airport can take 1.30-2 hours as it’s the last hotel stop. Get a private transfer, takes about 30 minutes. Pool The pool was just so crowed, even though it didn’t open until 10am. The pool had to be shared by guests staying at Erato. The beds were always occupied, not enough of them, not enough umbrellas. No anti slip matting around the pool and the tiles were like ice once wet. There was a toilet down a few steps, again, so dangerous once wet and of course these were wet all day. We spent our time on the beach. No men’s swim shorts allowed, men must wear a t-shirt in the buffet area although women were going to the buffet in inappropriate dress, seemed a bit unfair I felt. All in all, loved the part of Samos (Karvolassi) where we stayed (northwestern coast) but it was a very quiet resort."

"¡Sucia! ¡Deberíamos haber dejado el primer momento y llamado la atención sanitaria! ¡Avergüenza para nuestro país! Nos quedamos con mi familia de 20/07/23 a 25/07/23 necesariamente después de que lo hubiese cerrado con copón de turismo social! Nos planeamos quedarnos (antes de irnos) por otros tres días, sólo mencionaré nuestras habitaciones, no esperamos lujo! ¿No nos importaba la pequeña TV de moda antigua que no captó ningún canal o ruido en el calefactor, sino el teléfono en el duche y la corta cortina en el baño que se amarillaba con el tiempo y/o el muelle? ¡El balcón estaba en un armario y las sillas de plástico para el balcón y necesitaban limpiar! Cuando nos fuimos (y después de que nos pidió una sanción legal para cancelar la reserva) le contamos sobre las quejas anteriores (quejas) nos dijo que teníamos que hablar con él desde el primer día para darnos otras habitaciones! Me pregunto qué han escrito algunos sobre los buenos comentarios que hemos hecho!"

"Beautiful hotel, nice service and that's where I'd end it. The food was one of the worst I've ever eaten. Maximum of 2 good dishes a day to choose from. There's no point in talking about the bar... drinks that aren't these drinks taste disgusting, and if we want to drink anything better, we have to pay €9 for something that can't even be flushed down the toilet. It tastes like the cheapest fruit concentrate but is completely sterile and has half-melted ice lying around."

"Love, love, love. Beautiful and relaxing. So many beautiful flowers and trees. The rooms are spacious, very clean and cool. No issue with the air at all. So nice to sit on the balcony. Table and chairs are comfy. Food was sooo good and fresh. The pools are very very clean which I appreciate, I hate when there are things floating etc. plenty of chairs and a nice pool bar Very easy to get cabs to town if you don’t want to walk. My brother walked to town every morning and brought back pastries. There is a little store for food etc and also a couple stores for gifts. Very reasonable prices. I was never overheated , thirsty or hungry. Perfect get away❤️❤️❤️"

"El hotel está situado en un lugar tranquilo, a dos pasos del puerto (que era importante para nosotros cuando llegamos en un ferry de Turquía) y un aparcamiento con tavernas y playas. El personal es muy amable. Nos alegrará volver."
