OMG, this hotel is amazing. The location, views of the mountain and valley, and the funicular trip to and from the hotel. Great staff, so friendly and helpful. Rooms and beds are comfy and warm. Food Lovely, we had meals in the restaurant. A bit pricey but food was very good on both nights. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

We booked for one night just for the experience of sleeping at 2456m above sea level. Based on other reviews, we were a little concerned that the room would be very small. In fact, both the room and bathroom were quite adequate. Also there was a lounge on our floor, with its own terrace and amazing views, comfy chairs and a desk on which we spent the evening doing a jigsaw puzzle helpfully provided by the hotel! The lift was out of order and this was a problem for some other guests with limited mobility. We didn’t have dinner but afterwards wished we had. Breakfast was very good

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The views are amazing. The breakfast fresh and delicious. The staff are all welcoming. Nothing not to like. The walks up on the mountain side were lovely too. It was a shame that the tobaggan didnt have enough snow.

This hotel is in an amazing location - literally at the top of a mountain with stunning views in every direction. Everything about it is perfect - our room was beautiful in its simplicity and had fantastic views. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and the food was inventive and delicious. The buffet breakfast was a banquet. There is a terrace with fantastic views where we enjoyed evening drinks. The staff throughout were lovely and very helpful. We made use of the free chairlift pass included with the booking and also walked some of the trails which start at the top of the funicular which leads to the hotel. This is easily the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in - I recommend it highly.

This was our fourth stay at Muottas Muragl, and for sure we’ll stay again soon. All members of the family love this place and we’ve always been made to feel very welcome. For us it’s just the right balance between not being too fancy or over the top, but still very stylish and comfortable. The food is very good for Switzerland, one of the best small hotel restaurants I would say. The beakfast buffé is great. My only wish is that they could go one step further towards sustainability and completely get rid of the single portion plastic packs of butter, nutella etc.

A nice hotel in a beautiful area. Snow capped mountains surround it and it is beautiful to see them in the changing light. There are various walks fairly easy that you can take directly from the hotel. A very nice breakfast. We ate in the expensive restaurant both nights. Chateau Briand was a bit disappointing. Sea bass in Saffron sauce was fantastic. Rooms are fairly small but fine though shower tray was quite slippery. There was also a third bed high up in a mezzanine above the bathroom with a dangerous looking ladder to access it. No lift from 1st floor to second and no-one to help us with our suitcases.

We went for dinner at the fan restaurant right up on top of the mountain. The hotel belongs to the Roma TK hotel chain. It is connected by cable car about 2400 metres high. The view is magnificent of the whole valley. Food too is good. Wine selection is wonderful and so is the service. Worth going to have a meal or view if you’re around St Moritz

A great experience. The organisation was first class and the staff friendly and very helpful .The bedroom card was also a travel pass which was good value. Rooms are small but there was a quiet/study room which was very useful. Meals were excellent and varied. The scenery was of course exceptional !

The hotel is great and well located. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. There was a bus stop right in front of the entrance to the funicular. The experience of staying on the top of the mountain was amazing. We watched the sunset in the terrace drinking a wine with stunning views of the valley.
