We had a really good experience at Yoho. The staff members were nice, the location is from walking distance to the town center and railway station... and... we had a 6-beds dormitory, with really nice mattresses, clean rooms and private ensuite bathroom & toilets. That was appreciated. Thanks !

On arriving at the Hostel I was early for my check in but was offered to either store my luggage or wait for check in. I decided to wait, as it wasn't long until check in. (At this point I could have been handed a form everyone has to fill in, in order to check in - But I wasn't, so when checking in I was given the form to then have to leave the queue, fill in, and re-join the back of the queue). I paid my city tax, and was given a key card to my room. The door to the room was already open, and the room was spacious with big lockers for your luggage that was connected to your key card. Comfortable beds, but when you put your night/bed light on it illuminates the room to the point where another traveller asked if the main light could be turned off and it was, it was just someone's bed light that made the entire room light up. I had to go up one level of stair to get to the female showers, which was fine. The showers were nice and had a dry shelf where you could store your clothes for getting out of the shower. There was mixed toilets on all floors, but not enough to cater for the amount of people in one room, let alone an entire floor. There was a kitchen as well as a bar area. The kitchen had a vending machine, microwave, and a fridge. Not much cooking facilities or utensils. Great location, within walking distance of the Mirabell Gardens and City centre.

I stayed at the hostel for 2 nights & really enjoyed it. The hostel is very clean, warm and comfortable. The staff are also very welcoming and I didn't feel I was just a number. Also met some great fellow travellers which added to the experience! Would definitely recommend.🙂

Overall a very commercial feeling hostel, very large and everyone keeps themselves to themselves. Not many toilets for the amount of people, especially when one was out of order. Luck of the draw when it comes to rooms - my room was very sociable and I made good friends there, however others seemed very quiet. Would recommend, but there are definitely more social hostels for solo travellers.

YOHO salzburg was in a great location with a great bar. The service was adequate, with staff willing to help when they could. The only issue experienced at this stay was how hot the rooms were. I would not recommend visiting in the summer months

Absolutely amazing customer service, super friendly and really helpful too! Made me feel at home as a solo traveller. Comfortable bed and great facilities too! I will definitely use this Hostel again if I ever come back to Salzburg! Thank you!

Very friendly Staff, very comfy to stay, great comfy Beds, clean Toilets/Showers & some Showers u can find in the Rooms to share with your Room Mates only, Very welcome hostel near City and just walking distances to the Central rail station. Welcome Drink included, washing area for a low fee available which is very comfy for long travelers, felt very homely, but most important I feel very confident in the rooms by giving a Safty Key for locker /door and absolute stunning are the Beds where u sleep very comfy whole night, Thank you !

Great location in Salzburg, such a wholesome city. They play the sound of music every night which is super cute. Nice dorm rooms and the card to open the room also locks the lockers so you don’t need a padlock which is handy. The laundry is in the basement with a washing line if you aren’t keen on dryers. There are free bread rolls, and hot drinks with milk available. The showers were fine. Only two toilets on my floor which wasn’t an issue as I was there during shoulder season. In fact I scored the entire room to myself the second night! However I can see how this would be problematic during peak season. Unfortunately the blonde receptionist was extremely rude and tainted my experience. She looked annoyed the entire time and has about a 5 second delay on responding when you stand at the counter to ask for something or even just to check out. I continued to smile and use my manners around her but she was unpleasant.

Great hostel that has a nice charm. Plays sound of music every night in a common room which was very fun to watch with other travelers. It's nice they have adopted the stereotype despite Salzburg having so much more to offer then film locations. Not much of a kitchen unfortunately, just a microwave and kettle from memory. In walking distance from Salzburg's old town and even closer to the train station. Staff was very friendly and all for luggage storage and have lockers in the dorm rooms. Not many showers on each floor but were of a very high standard. Would definitely recommend to a friend and would stay here again
