Golden Avenida Family Suites

Stayed for a week b&b. Location of hotel was good. Room was a pool view which gets sun most of the day. Breakfast good but Luke warm food most of the time. Room ok but note only two sockets in room which isn't enough and none at side of beds. Staff all friendly. Biggest moan was when going home,the hotel provides 2 X courtesy shower rooms male and female. When I went to use mine the shower was broken and sign out out of order. My wife said the female room looked like it hadn't been getting cleaned. When I went back up to reception to complain the receptionist seemed disinterested. Not the best from a 4 star hotel. Taxi can be booked through reception at hotel. On the whole would I stay here again... probably not. When you pay 4 star prices you want 4 star services.

We visited here with my 2 toddlers, aged 1 and 2. This hotel was very family friendly and great especially for young families. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful. They were great with the kids. The entertainment team at night from the Goldie Club were fantastic. The prices in the lounge area were also really reasonable too. We were half board, the food was OK. It did change every day however i did notice a lot of people microwaving their food. As we were half board this didn’t really bother us. The room was great for our family. Having the extra bedroom allowed my husband and I to stay up longer than the kids. A lot of hotels are just one single room for all so we really enjoyed having the extra space for the kids to have their naps. We stayed on the 6th floor facing the road. We didn’t notice much noise from the outside however the echo of people from the corridors carried into the room at times. This didn’t bother us but I could see how it might bother people with kids who are light sleepers. The pool had plenty of loungers available and unlike many other hotels there was no real rush in the mornings with people trying to reserve sun loungers. This may be possibly because we stayed in off peak season in September. The pool however was FREEZING even though temperatures were in the high 20’s. This didnt bother my eldest but my youngest wouldn’t go near the pool because it was too cold. The negatives listed didn’t bother us too much but I could see how it maybe could annoy people. We really enjoyed our time in Golden Avenida, the staff as mentioned were brilliant and so helpful. The location of the hotel is brilliant too. We were able to walk to and from Portaventura it took a short 20/30 minutes. We definitely will return as we had a great time.

I started coming on holiday with my grandfather to this lovely, friendliest hotel back in 2017 (wouldn’t let me go that far back to change the year) anyhow, we always love going ever year even 2x a year! It’s a family hotel with the best staff☀️

Wow can i just say this is the most welcoming hotel. The staff are the most happy and friendly! We stayed here as a group of 11. Ingrid was fantastic and super helpful. Along with the reception staff and bar staff.. in particular engel and aleandro. Rooms were cleaned daily by the very friendly cleaners. Such a nice vibe. Food was great for the kids. Hotel was spotless. Added bonus was the laundrette downstairs for washing. We had a huge balcony that made drying washing super easy. Although a tumble dryer was available also.. indoor pool was lovely and warm. Outdoor pool was cold but travelling in October its to be expected. Never stopped the kids. Great on site park for the kids while the other ones played football. Overall an amazing hotel. Already booked for next year. Thank you Ingrid for you and your team making our holiday the best

Great hotel with brilliant staff. There is always something good to eat at the buffet for all the family. Kids loved the pool as always. This has been our 5th visit and we have enjoyed it as much as the first one. The staff remember you and welcome with open arms and can’t do enough for you.
