We stayed bc we attended the Polar Express and it was a closer option and not the cheapest or lowest rate. Upon entering our room we found it smelling awful and when I called the front desk the woman said they were fully booked and had no other option. When i asked if we everyone was checked in she said no and then i asked if we could have one of those rooms since my kid had asthma. She seemed confused and said they were “assigned” and it was fully booked again. When i asked if she could reassign us to a different room that wasnt checked in yet she gave me attitude and said again they are fully booked bc of Polar Express Train. Fine it was one night well stay. When i turned the ac on (yes in December) since the room was so humid and stale I saw the white sheer curtains shredded and all around the room walls were “fixed” and not repainted. Later while showering there was mold everywhere on the walls and ceiling. One small shampoo and a small bar soap for body and face. The breakfast was lacking with “egg” patties tasting like “wet sponge” as my son told me and sausage patties almost as bad. One waffle machine made for a busy line. Cold food breakfast was all sugar pastries. No bagels or other breads. OJ was a very dark orange. The last straw that made me post this was finding men’s underwear in my bed at the headboard. This place is going downhill fast. I would not recommend this hotel/motel even for one quick night. Just as bad as a Motel 8 if not worse.
