The Contentment Cottage was fully renovated and an addition completed in January 2023. Come enjoy the newly renovated spaces and create lasting memories. Guests will experience a restful retreat with vaulted ceilings throughout the home, lots of natural light, hardwood floors, spacious and well equipped kitchen and entertaining area, 2 covered porches, NEW fire pit installed in private backyard. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood that is a short walk to Mallery Park, Village and the SSI Pier. FLETC Welcome & month long renters welcome- contact owner for discounts. About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Renter must upload drivers license for age verification. Renter must be staying at the property and not renting on behalf of others..The grill is not allowed to be moved onto or under the front porch or the back porch. Clean, Comfortable, Exceptional
We will be back! My partner and 3 kids had an excellent stay for 5 days in Aug. 2025. The home was impeccably clean which is always number one on my list. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the ice machine made plentiful ice for our hot, hot week. The beds were comfortable and the primary bedroom, bathroom, and walk in closet is huge!The attention to detail - bright and plentiful lighting, cards and other games, and comfy outside furniture -- was exceptional. The included beach towels were much appreciated and saved us packing space! Close to the beach, restaurants, Neptune pool -- We rented a golf cart and easily and quickly navigated around town.Thanks for the stay and the memories we were able to make.

Great property for family trip!
This is a beautiful home! Clean and fresh! The house has several different areas for family and friends to enjoy their time visiting. Every amenity just as described. The host was informative and easy to communicate with before, during and our stay. Close to all the fun! We’ll definitely stay again!

Can’t wait to be back!
Incredible stay at The Contentment Cottage! House was so spacious, clean and a 2 min drive from SSI village. Our first time on the island and looking forward to our next time to stay here again! Christian was so easy to communicate with and made reservation process seamless.

If you are on the fence about booking your stay here? BOOK IT! Spotless, perfect location, and all with the conveniences of home. Christan is highly responsive and communicates well. I would not hesitate to book this residence again.

The cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. Took my family of four (ages 1-9) and it was very family friendly. No stairs to fight with, toys and books for kids on site. Big open space and nice backyard for kids to play. A great central location to enjoy SSI, nice neighborhood to take a walk in. The owner was gracious and checked on us before and after check in. Very easy to communicate with and extra helpful. We will stay again.

First time for everything
My wife and I have been come down here with our own families for over 20 years and we met and got married and this is our first time in SSI with each other and our soon to be daughter. This house was very accommodating to us and our friends/family. Christian was great and we can’t wait to be back next year with a new addition!

Wonderful Stay!
