Very disappointed in our stay here. We won’t be coming back. We’ve just been here 1 night so far and unfortunately have 1 more left. Beds very uncomfortable. Bedding is even worse. Extremely poor low quality and this hard crinkled material design for hotel bedding. Very irritating on the skin. Asked to change it but I was told we couldn’t. WiFi is very slow and unstable. Rooms are absolutely NOT soundproof. Noise disturbance from other guests and also from music playing in reception after 11:30pm and before 7:30am which is loud and unnecessary. Overpriced for both the hotel and the restaurant. Definitely recommend eating down in the town instead. Only 2 electric charging points for vehicles which occupy the 2 disabled parking bays so they haven’t been available yet for us to charge the car.

We spent a lovely peaceful week here. We had a double cosy room which was big enough and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. The aircon was really good and it was a relief to come back to such a cool room after the August heat. The room had a coffee machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, fridge and heated towel rail. We swam in the pool every day, this was clean and a perfect temperature. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit out of town but there is a bus stop just outside, you can get a bus for 1.5 euro to the centre of town by the railway station or the hotel can arrange taxis. We enjoyed breakfast by the pool each day, enormous buffet with hot and cold food which even included macaroons. The only downside was the mosquitos that were bad by the pool in the evening, take insect repellent with you.

I booked early so the price point was quite good at $150 a night. They offer car service at about the same price as Uber (but faster and more reliable), and the train station as well as the ferry are within 10minutes. I took the ferry to St. Tropez for the day. The town of St. Raphael is also nice for strolling along the beach and several people were taking a dip. For about $30 one can have a private hour at the spa which is a very large hot tub with water jets, a small lap pool and sauna. The outside pool also looked lovely. The room was spacious and attractive. The gym was small with older equipment and does not open until 9am. The place smelled great and the room was attractive and large. It felt like being in a slightly secluded place which was relaxing. If I were going to the French Riveria again I would seriously consider staying longer and traveling to Cannes and Antibes from here as well.

This hotel is truly a hidden gem of the region. We stayed here for a week during our family trip to the south of France and couldn’t have been happier. Especially if you plan to visit multiple destinations, this hotel is the perfect base. It is beautiful and so stylish!!!! The rooms are incredibly comfortable! The breakfast and lunch are delicious. The management is incredibly helpful and friendly and makes you feel like old friends. The hotel is a small, family owned boutique hotel so don’t expect the hustle and bustle of a big hotel, or 24 hour room service, but we found it to be such a wonderful experience. We felt like we were visiting friends who live in a beautiful mansion in the south of France. The area is quite and filled with trees. The hotel is only about a 10 minute drive from the nearest beach. But we decided to travel around and this hotel is perfectly situated for that. It is only 40min from Nice, 40min from Cannes, and slightly over an hour from St. Tropez.

A nice stay in Saint Raphael far from the chaotic center, located in a beautiful residential area next to the Golf. 3km by car to reach any beach, about 30’ to Saint Maxime and 45’ to Saint Tropez Rooms are spacious and clean. Parking available on site. Good value for money.
