Clean and well-kept 2-bedroom unit. Safe and quiet area. Very pleasant and helpful staff. The one thing I didn't appreciate was a call from the sales desk before arrival. I told him we weren't interested in a tour or going over our account. He asked what we would be doing during our stay and would we be golfing, I said yes and he told me a welcome package would be waiting with coupons for everything. When we arrived there was no package waiting we needed to go to the sales desk, Jeff tied to get us to sit through a presentation again even though I told him no on the phone. The coupons were generic books you could pick up anywhere. When I asked him where the golf discounts were we spoke about on the phone he said oh I can give you that if you come to a presentation...not what was said on the phone before arrival. Other than that very happy with the stay.

Amenity use is a charge without them being an option. The pool was closed at 6:30pm because of non efficient lighting. Our room was blinded by the all the lighting. Only thing we like to do is evening hot tub and couldn't. We still had to pay the resort fees.

This resort was centrally located for our St Augustine and Jacksonville trip. We loved St Augustine and all of the history associated with this area. The golf was great as well, shopping was nice and Bucky’s amd Publix are close. Nice resort for our trip with RCI.

Let’s start with the positive. The accommodations are nice, as nice as any in the BG family. The staff is great. Very helpful and polite. The immediate property is fine. We were disappointed to find World Golf is a ghost town. No shops, no Hall of Fame (despite all of the signage to the contrary), just empty. We are used to staying on property as much as possible with other BG resorts. This trip we constantly had to drive out of World Golf for food and entertainment. If you’re coming to play golf or stay while visiting Old Town, it’s a great stay.

Rooms are nice but dated. Balcony is super small. The WiFi sucks, which for this day and age is unacceptable! Pool is beautiful and clean; however only 4 ft deep.... mostly 3 ft. Pool hrs are only 10 to 7. Late check out is only until 11. Service was meh... asked for towels. Brought 2 sets but didn't take used ones. Floor was not washed, it had a sticky area by table. Asked to clean it.... never came or did a crappy job. I cleaned myself.
