Very well located at the port. Garage and perfect restaurant with terrasse

Roughly an year ago I stayed for the first time at this hotel - now in March 2024 I returned for another few days (on a business trip). So here are the findings from the trip this year. Location - pretty much the same as I was remembering it, helpful front desk staff , smooth and fast check-in and check-out. Parking in front of the hotel - or in the underground parking , for a fee. The lobby bar (and restaurant - and by the way the restaurant is really good - in my review from an year ago you got some info on that one) closes about 9:30 pm but the front desk personal will serve you a beer or a drink - is no issue whatsoever. The room I've got - on the first floor, was spacious , and very clean, the bathroom the same - with a walk-in shower and all the necessary amenities were available. Breakfast- well that is their weak spot (was and still is from my perspective) - not too many options, should you stay for more days it will become boring really fast ... for me who likes to eat very good in the morning (since I eat lightly in the evenings) it was kind of annoying to have very limited options - but the even that is sort of minimal what they serve is very good quality. The view in front of the hotel with the lake Neuchatel and the mountains (Swiss Alps) in the background, is just great. Overall a very good hotel - with a very decent price to quality ratio , for sure I will keep it on my list if I have to travel to the area once again.

Another trip to Switzerland - another hotel ... I could start like this , still it is more to it than only "another hotel". Location - in Saint-Aubin-Sauges on the shores of lake Neuchatel - the view in the morning is great - looking towards the lake and the mountains in the back. Also they got a terrace in the front facing the lake and the marina - in the summer this is also a great option to seat outside. Also they got a small spa - so if you are interested it is something to keep in mind. Rooms- spacious and very clean, likewise the bathroom - loaded with all the items you might need. The air-conditioning works also as a heating system so you can adjust. Breakfast - kind of dull, in the morning it was pretty much the same thing every morning - so it wasn't exactly as I imagined, but you had some choices , still what I was missing the most was the lack of anything to go with the protein and fat, no pepper, no tomatoes, no cucumber, salad, something - only cheese, eggs, bacon ... after a few days stay it can be annoying. Restaurant - some very good options, portions kind of small - but overall a decent quality for the price you pay. Parking in front of the hotel , or in the underground parking - in the underground you pay a fee - but if you arrive by car you can definitely park it without any issue. Overall a nice hotel , new - as it looks, not all things are perfect but definitely I can recommend this hotel for a short - few days stay , it is definitely worth the money and it is a good price to quality ratio.
