"We booked for two nights , on the phone we told the lady we would prefer a room on a higher floor , on arrival we had been given a ground floor room which was a room for a disabled person in a wheelchair , being 6'4 I had to get on my knees to use the sink , the room had no view other than bins area which smelt of rotting garbage , when you travel to a seaside town its nice to have the widow open to smell the sea not rotting food , the staff we found friendly but sadly we will never return to this Travelodge."

"Stayed for 3 days, we were in a room across from the hotel, the room had a kitchen and seating area, a bedroom, and a very spacious bathroom which we weren't expecting. The room was cleaned every day.. The hotel itself had a lovely sunny garden. The staff are really friendly and very accomodating. Location is great right in the middle of town but up a steep hill. Beach is a 15 min walk, bus and train station is 5 to 10 min walk. There is a sainsbury a couple of doors down if needed. Only negative is. In our building there is no lift, I am not sure if there is one in the main building. Its a steep walk back up from the beach if you are not spritly this could be a problem. We had no problem. Shopping, there are a few supermarkets and Boutiques which I love, a Peacocks and a Poundland, plus other holiday shops. Getting around, is easy, you have the train that goes to Lake, Sandown, Brading and Shanklin. The bus station where you will find buses that take you all over the island less than a 10 min walk away."
