Masseria Agrituristica Lama San Giorgio

A charming place surrounded by vineyards and orchards. The rooms are cozy and clean, the breakfast is delicious and the staff is welcoming. We spent three wonderful days at the villa and will definitely return for one of our next vacations.

Fantastic place! The facilities are perfect, the clean pool, sunbeds, and playground for kids are fantastic. The staff is amazing! The only bad thing is that being a farm the work starts and in the morning is a lot of noise. Really early like 5-6 AM

It already started when we entered the hotel property. The building is in much worse/filthier condition than how it is presented via pictures on the internet. Upon arrival at the hotel, the owner immediately addressed us: ‘if you have any complaints, you can text or call me. I don't want a bad review’. This was literally the first thing we were told when we received it. We got a room in the 'historic' part of the hotel. Historical apparently means old, dilapidated and also dirty.. When we got to the room, we were immediately confronted with insects in the room. The towels and bedding were full of stains. Brown, green and red. The furnishings were dusty and the air con noisy. When we saw this I immediately went to the reception and asked for another room. The answer was: 'hotel is fully booked, no other room available. You can get new towels and bed linen. Those insects simply belong to the countryside.’ I left it there that night because we had to sleep somewhere anyway and we were just afraid that if we started the discussion that night, maybe something would happen to our car or luggage. I'm not scared fast, but this man seemed so intimidating and dangerous that I did get this feeling. After a terrible night, I reached out to the owner (the guy who said he didn't want a bad review and wanted to resolve any issues). He was not at the hotel himself and I was told to explain my problem via whatsapp. Eventually a receptionist of the hotel called the owner so I got him on the phone. Then I indicated that the hotel and the room are dirty and that the hotel is nothing like what is advertised on the internet. We didn't want to spend our last 4 days of vacation in such a miserable way. I indicated that we wanted to go and wanted compensation. The owner literally said, 'It's your problem if you want to go. It is an old building and this is part of it. You will not get any money back. If you don't like it, you should have gone to a resort.’ I gave him the option to return a part of the amount instead of the total, but this was also rejected. The owner of the hotel started threatening the police and the Dutch consulate if I continued to threaten. I have not threatened anyone, only expressed my dissatisfaction and tried to come up with a solution. According to the owner, the solution was to offer the room online again, and if he could sell the room to others we could talk about MAYBE getting a compensation afterwards. How the hotel comes across on the internet and the photos is completely opposite of reality. The rooms are dirty, furniture full of dust, mold/moisture spots on the walls, barely any water pressure which makes showering almost impossible, thin walls so you can clearly hear the neighbors at night and even listen to what program they are watching on television. Per il nostro anniversario ho voluto prenotare una notte presso questa masseria! Molto bella , staff attento , camera pulita. Ristorante ben tenuto e ottima cucina , staff sul pezzo , attenti precisi veloci . Piscina tenuta bene dove vi è anche un bar per ogni evenienza. Colazione abbondante e con molte varietà sia dolce che salata ! Nota positiva una bella area per i bambini , con annessi qualche animale da cortile e non !!! Distesa di viti e uliveti !!Molto consigliata!!!

Sono stata con il mio fidanzato per due anni di fila e ci ritornerei senza ombra di dubbio!! Abbiamo usufruito della piscina il sabato e la domenica ed abbiamo provato sia piscina+pranzo e sia senza pranzo e devo dire che in entrambi i casi non ci hanno deluso! Il pranzo ovviamente da 10..tutte cose genuine e del ‘proprio orto’ mentre se scegliete l’opzione solo piscina troverete un bar che vi propone pucce, friselle ecc.. che sono ottime.. Per quanto riguarda il trascorrere la giornata vi assicuro una giornata in total relax, rilassante e accogliente.. Ci torneremo sicuramente il prossimo anno

Abbiamo trascorso un’ottima vacanza presso questa bella e curata masseria. Il camino acceso all’ingresso creava un’atmosfera proprio speciale. All’esterno, tra i vigneti, anche il campo da calcetto e parco giochi per i bimbi. Molto buone le colazioni e le cene con piatti e prodotti tipici della tradizione pugliese. Anche il cenone e la divertente festa di capodanno organizzati davvero bene. A rendere ancor più piacevole il soggiorno sono stati i componenti dello staff tutti preparati e attenti. La signorina Elena della reception e il proprietario ci hanno poi dato tante indicazioni utili per esplorare i posti più belli nei dintorni. Consigliatissimo.
