Sunset Ridge Guest House

I booked one deluxe double room with balcony, bath and shower and minibar..as advertised. No cansellation option was possible. The deposit was immediately taken from my credit card. I was placed in a small bedroom with shower only and balcony door that could not open...and no minibar.They then moved me the next day to a better room with beautiful view..but still no bath or minibar. The breakfast was very poor. No filter coffee... no cheese. The chocolate muffins were stale and probably a few days old. I was given no choice of how I wanted my eggs done . One of the other guests sent their breakfast back as they did not eat ham and did not want scrambled eggs. The plate of food was then placed in front of me. Without even giving me any choice ..it was definately the plate of food the other guest sent back to then kitchen. It was a croissant with ham and scrambled.eggs...already cold. I could not eat the cold eggs and asked for another croissant. They brought me a croissant that had been warmed up in the microwave for too long... totally inedible. No service or help carrying my heavy luggage down the stairs to my car on departure. I booked Sunset Ridge as I was looking for a better place to stay and thought I couldnt go wrong with a 4 star guesthouse.... Very dissalppointed.. I dont know if it was just because it was 1January and they were short of staff ... but that really is not an excuse. .

no Parking space and the manhole by the gate without the cordoning signs is one of the most scariest thing nearly fell in while reversing out. its danger in the making. it might the municipality was working ear the place but the danger is infront and the guest are in danger

Beautiful place at a spectacular location. However, management needs to have a talk with its staff. They were very noisy in the morning and actually woke me up. They converse at a very loudly - which I think it is very inconsiderate moreover knowing that there are guests at the establishment who might still be asleep.

Sehr unpersönlich,keine Begrüßung,die "wesentlichen"Dinge,die man wohl so wissen sollte,standen auf einem Zettel am Spiegel,zusammengesuchtes Mobiliar. Frühstück- während alle Tische besetzt waren- noch mit Plastikfolie abgedeckt. Tassen,Gläser,Eier usw genau abgezählt. Gastlichkeit sieht anders aus.
