Staying at this premier inn was a really good experience. Everyone was very nice and very accommodating. They responded to your requirements quickly and asked if we needed anything. The breakfast was banging. It took a little bit of time to come out but that didn’t bother me that much. The staff apologised for the wait which was really considerate and I appreciated it.

Looks clean and tidy, which it is for the most part. The shower tray leaked from underneath leaving the whole bathroom wet. Quilt is too hot for me but without it there is no covers so need to turn up the heating, plus side is individual room stat whois easy to control. Good selection at breakfast of hot and cold, pastries, fruit, cereal. The black pudding was extremely salty and the fried eggs were somewhat dehydrated ( possibly put under the grill). Coffee was ok but a little weak for me. Rooms are reasonably sound proof but you can hear the showers running in other rooms. Their MK2 mattress did not seem as comfortable as the original and seems to be a lot of pillow top with poor support. Good amount of parking but with the pub next door this can fill up.

Faultless accommodation, clean and comfortable. Really helpful staff who were always cheerful. Very impressed indeed with the breakfast- compliments to the chef who saw everything you would expect was cooked beautifully. There was even fried bread as an extra!

The staff we met were great, happy and very helpful…nothing was too much trouble for them so this review is about the hotel itself and not the staff. Couldn’t work the air con out, I do get hot at night as the quilts are thick. Slept ok apart from the green flashing light from the smoke alarm? Was very annoying, it’s right over the bed! Noisy hallway even though there are signs asking for people to tiptoe.
