The Greenman Pub

We enjoyed lunch here today. The decor is great and ambience. The barman was great being very attentive and professional. The staff here are always very welcoming and a joy. I dont know how the owner can attract such a fantstic team. Our meals were delicious and cooked on the premises. A talented chef indeed. This is by far the best food and pub in the area. I highly recomend.

The pub its self is good. The rooms are less than budget. I was not happy with the first room and the photos I post is of the second room offered and was better than the first. The place is dirty, filthy dirty. Dust, cob webs, stained carpets, mould and the beds, well I’ve had better nights sleep on the floor. The carpet leading to the rooms is black. The carpet in the room is sticky. Avoid staying here at all costs. I didn’t eat here as the rooms were so dirty I would not trust the kitchen to be much of an improvement. Really poor accommodation. Dust everywhere. Curtains falling down. Remote for tv does not turn on or off.

This was my 2nd time eating dinner here. The 1st time I visited I ordered the lamb shank. It was the best lamb shank I've ever had, the meat fell off the bone. So, last night I ordered it again. Sadly, what arrived was the worst lamb shank I've ever had. It was an actual fight to get the meat off the bone. I told the waitress this when she cleared our plates. Her response was NOTHING absolutely no response no words or even change in facial expression. Won't be returning in a hurry.

I took my dad out for a Friday lunch. It's the first time we'd been. My neighbours had recommended so thought we'd give it a go. The sun was shining so we sat outside. Lots of picnic benches - unfortunately my dad's mobility isn't good so can't get on and off those easily so sat at the one table with separate chairs for ease, but these were on gravel. Anyway, it was a friendly atmosphere and the food was really fab. In fact my dad went back with a friend he following day! My dad is a bit of a connoisseur of fish and chips and he loved them. Presentation was great. Pub needs a bit of tlc, but with more customers that'll be possible. Definitely my preferred place to eat in Dunchurch now. We'd definitely recommend!

Booked Sunday Dinner Here As We Have Used This Pub Alot Of Times Over The Year’s, Service Was Minimum Food Was Absolutely Awful No Green’s For Vegetables Only Carrots Swede & Parsnip’s And They Was Luke Warm, I Ordered Gammon All I Could Taste Was Salt! Chicken Was Ok My Partner Ordered Beef That Was Ok,We Waited Over An Hour For This To Come Out Staff Should Make Customer’s Aware Of What Vegetables Are Available So We Could Of Either Ordered Something Else Or Made Alternative Arrangements Instead Of Leaving The Pub Totally Dissatisfied & Hungry!Wont Be Returning. Staff Should Also Concentrate On Serving One Customer At A Time Instead Of Picking & Choosing Who There Going To Attend To Whist In The Middle Of Service!!
