Villa Marea

A very attractive villa with pleasant grounds, friendly owners/hosts, and clean, comfortable rooms. Being able to use the bikes available was a plus which allowed us to visit the nearby park as well as ride to the old city. There were plenty of options for breakfast which we opted to have on site. We did not use the pool but it seemed inviting. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Marea.

We loved our stay at Villa Marea. The room was cute and comfortable. The breakfast was a small buffet, but very well done. We appreciated the parking. The walk to town was about 25 minutes. The pool was such a delight after a day of site seeing in the heat. The staff was very kind. They even surprised me by setting up a very special table for me at breakfast to celebrate my birthday. Thank you’s especially to Mel and Gabby.

Friendly welcome from Gaby started our lovely stay in this villa. It was spotlessly clean. We had a room on the front with a balcony & it was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. The location was excellent for us with a very short walk to the forest park & beaches. The walk to the old town was about 20/25 mins which was perfect pre & post dinner.

Villa Marea was the perfect stay for our family trip to Rovinj. We had an excellent apartment with 2 bathrooms, small kitchenette and a main bedroom. The lounge area had a sofa bed that was perfect for our children. Balcony was a little small for the 4 of us, but was OK. Gabbie was lovely and helped with all our needs at the villa. Can't thank her enough for making us feel very welcome and helping with a reservation for a very popular restaurant in Rovinj. The pool is a decent size and enough for a dip to get out of the sun and cool down. Our children loved it and played for hours in the water. There is a great beach less than 10 minutes walk, Cuvi beach. Would recommend this. Stones not to sharp to walk into the sea if you don't have beach shoes and it has a lovely beach cafe. Tip, try the freshly baked Vanilla or Chocolate Krapfen from the man that sells them on the beach. Perfect trip to Rovinj and plan to return to Villa Merea next summer for our Croatian vacation.

A superb stay here as a family of 4. We had plenty of space in our apartment which was clean and well looked after during our stay. The hotel is peaceful and relaxing. The pool is perfect after a hot day out and about and the kids loved it. The staff are friendly and really helpful, booking taxis and offering advice. A small stroll to the beach which was beautiful. Bikes available to borrow. We would definitely come back to this lovely place.

I have already reviewed this but just to reiterate the owners are the best and provide you with all you need for a holiday in this beautiful place. Go there- you will not be disappointed. t has the best scenery in a wonderful harbour location with excellent restaurants.
