Lauri Historical Log House Manor

Staying at Lauri was a wonderful experience. The loghouse was beautiful, cozy and was perfect for a group of friends travelling together. We had enough and it did not feel small or cramped. Additionally it is just a short walk from the city centre and the museum which made exploring Rovaniemi very easy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic charm and a great location!

My stay at Lauri was nothing short of wonderful. The room was impeccably clean, cozy, and had such a warm, welcoming feel. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, offering helpful tips for the area and making me feel truly at home. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind, with a peaceful atmosphere that made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a charming escape!

Una casa davvero accogliente, in legno come le case tradizionali, e a due passi dal centro, dagli autobus e dai negozi e ristoranti. A un quarto d'ora a piedi anche dalla stazione ferroviaria. Nello studio V dove eravamo noi c'era tutto il necessario, anche per cucinare, con una bella vista dalla camera da letto su alberi, giardino e kindergarten, mentre il soggiorno cucina un po' buio, ma comunque romantico con le lucine appese sempre accese davanti la finestra con una parte antica in legno. All'ingresso c'è anche il negozio di artigianato, dove abbiamo acquistato una kuksa e un cucchiaio per il caffè in legno e orecchini... tutto molto bello e artigianale. Un posto sicuramente da consigliare per stare a Rovaniemi. A truly cozy house, made of wood like traditional homes, and just steps away from the center, buses, shops, and restaurants. It's also a fifteen-minute walk from the train station. In Studio V, where we stayed, there was everything we needed, even for cooking, with a nice view from the bedroom, with trees, graden and kindergarden, while the living room and kitchen were a bit dark, but still romantic with the hanging lights always on in front of the window with an old wooden section. At the entrance, there's also a craft shop where we bought a kuksa, a wooden coffee spoon, and earrings... everything was very beautiful and handmade. Definitely a place to recommend for staying in Rovaniemi.
