The Davron is a beautiful local hotel/bar/restuarant that has been decorated to a high standard. The hotel rooms were surprisingly spacious and we had an amazing night sleep with a sea view. Bar was cosy and had a lovely local band playing when we were there. And the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere and was full of locals eating out. The food was simply divine. Breakfast room was cosy and as expected our chef supplied us with an excellent full breakfast . Staff were friendly, chatty and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here and will be visiting again soon

Well, what can I say. This was a superb visit. From the warm friendly welcome on arrival to the all the way through to us leaving, there was nothing we couldn't fault. The meal we excellent. Everything was hot, and the portions were huge! The Sticky Toffee Pudding, in particular, was the biggest I've ever seen in a restaurant! We certainly got value for money and highly recommend The Davron to everyone.

Really lovely and welcoming hotel ,staff are delightful 😊 very helpful nothing is a bother to them, Room was spotless great shower and comfy cosy bed had a great sleep, breakfast was excellent mer the chef again lovely guy 👦 good value for money area is stunning would highly recommend this 💎 gem of a hotel 10/10 will definitely return for a break.

Visited the Davron with my daughter, for a long weekend, (Friday to Monday) We were greeted warmly by Anna, who always had a smile and served breakfast every morning during our stay. This small hotel was a very pleasant surprise. You really have to visit and experience the awesome restaurant which runs like clockwork. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. These ladies know how to work a restaurant floor. Always looking, always checking that everythig is okay. I had one issue and it was dealt with so swiftly by Hilda that it nearly took my breath away. You'll be amazed at how busy this restaurant is with both locals and residents. It can seat 100 covers and just goes like a fair. I cannot speak highly enough about this establishment, it is excellent. Menu for both breakfast and evening meal are varied and imaginative. We were out through the day, so can't comment on lunch. Bedrooms are very comfortable. Service from the staff in all aspects of the hotel was superb. My daughter was particularly impressed when she found her pyjamas neatly folded . Just little touches that make all the difference. The establishment is privately owned which I always find is a big advantage. Rosehearty itself has a delightful little harbour and a beautiful beach which is a hop and a skip from the hotel. I certainly hope to return.

We have just had the most amazing stay at the Davron hotel and highly recommend it. We're a family of eight and stayed for two nights. The staff are more than welcoming and are very professional - we have to say a massive thanks to Jane who ran the bar for her warmth and kindness. The bedrooms are very comfy, spacious and well equipped for a perfect nights sleep - our room had the most amazing view of the sea. We ate in the dinning room on both nights and the food is exceptional. The menu has a tasty choice of dishes (the fish is to die for) and really creative sweet dishes (the mint pot is worth a try). We all tried different dishes at Breakfast from light fruit salads, perfectly cooked eggs dishes (eggs royale so good) to super light pancakes. We all loved our stay and can't wait to come back. Thank you for looking after us.

Where do I start!! The staff were so welcoming on check in! Had a drink in the public bar and the locals are also very welcoming! Jane and Leona behind the bar are ace. Our room was immaculate, hairdryer, iron and kettle there.....and also a much appreciated caramel wafer 🥰 We had breakfast (included in the booking price) and it was out of this world, literally the best cooked breakfast ever. We left at 5.30am on our last day due to a very long journey ahead, but came downstairs to a packed lunch for both of us, also greatly appreciated! Thankyou Sharon and David for the BEST weekend!

New Years Eve Dinner. Brilliant from start to finish. Great food including a very good carvery and drinks, service and brilliant background music (Some of us like the 80-90S rock. Cheerful staff despite working New Years Eve.

The staff are really friendly, the service is great and the food is excellent. This place is a little gem, highly recommended. From the outside the Davron looks like a normal pub but this yard is has some surprises. If you visit the Fraserburgh area stay here I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean and had been recently renovated, everything was modern and up to date. The Food Wass excellent . We ate breakfast there every morning and the options were varied and of high quality. We had 3 dinners in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed them all. The owners work on site and do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your stay. We highly recommend this hotel and it's restaurant.
