We booked halve the resort out the weekend of 7 - 9 July '23. Arrival Fri night: No coffee/tea/sugar/milk in rooms; halve the aircons in rooms not working; shared remotes between rooms for aircons and tv's; No Wifi/DSTV in any or the rooms or resort although listed as a service on the website; no toilet paper in halve the rooms; no blankets/linen in some of the rooms; room 523 smelled like raw sewerage; guests have to run up-and-down in the coldest night in Pretoria in years to try and sort out remotes/linen/blankets/toilet paper; no assistance from manager Lerato. Sat: Aircons still not sorted, toilet paper and rooms not serviced and coffee/tea/sugar/milk filled; no electricity and most of the rooms (NOT due to load shedding as some of the rooms did have electricity); 4 of the rooms guests got electric shock when opening shower tap; water streaming from roof into shower in room 525; had to send some of my guests home at 01h00 in the morning due to their rooms being given out to guests that arrived on the Sat evening while we were at my daughter's wedding - rooms were booked and paid for 2 months in advance! No refund received or offered to date; Breakfast Sun morning 3 hours late - 6 of the 24 guests could eat (if you call a piece of bread and 1 spoon of egg a breakfast) then food were finished - Breakfast was fully paid for with accommodation!!; no cutlery to eat with; chipped plates and cups; no gas to light heaters (and no electricity!); no hot water for coffee. None of the patio doors of the rooms could open. Spa non-operational. I spoke to "owner" Zacharia on Sunday to voice my disgust; he promised to refund halve my money; when I followed up on this on 12th of July, he sweared at me and ended the call. This was my daughter's wedding and all the guests were booked in at this resort - what a HORRIBLE experience. No service whatsoever and only empty promises.
