Hotel Millerose

Friendliest most helpful staff you'll ever meet! The room was a bit dated, and could use a wee upgrade in places, but was clean and comfortable. The location was great, close to the station/transport hub, walking distance to most of the big attractions, and close to some great bars and restaurants. Very good value considering the prices for other hotels in the city centre.

Despite the entrance sign indicating Hotel "Pensione" Millerose, after the prompt and excellent service through the intercom (attention: check in must be between 2 pm and 6 pm) the main door was released and there is a small elevator to reach reception (6th floor). The rooms are excellent and clean (one of the bathrooms was outside but private). There is no breakfast (and this is stated when booking). I've been to Rome several times and, for sure, this was one of the best accommodations around Termini station I've stayed in, with good value for money.

Rapporto qualità prezzo pessimo. 200 € per una camera con due lettini per formare un letto a matrimoniale, un bagno vecchio con specchio da cambiare, doccia da modificare e per quella cifra neppure prodotti di igiene se non una misera saponetta. E' vero, siamo al centro di Roma e i prezzi sono alti in tutta la zona, ma questo è un affronto per gli altri Hotels vicini da me successivamente contattati che allo stesso prezzo offrivano camere più agevoli e nuove. Altro appunto: abbiamo dormito una notte nella suite: il concetto di suite è ovviamente sconosciuto ai proprietari dell'hotel. Addirittura non vi era l'armadio ma un solo appendiabiti all'esterno. Il portiere non esiste e il loro orario di presenza si limita alla sola tarda mattinata. Ovviamente per gite turistiche va benissimo, ma un prezzo del genere senza neppure la colazione è, seppure nel cuore di Roma, esagerato per ciò che offre. Basta migliorare alcune cose (e offrire i prodotti per il bagno) curare meglio i particolari e il prezzo può essere giustificato. Difficilmente ritornerò in questa struttura e mi dispiace perché, in ogni caso, il personale è disponibile e gentile. Ma non basta.

Due passi dalla stazione termini e metro. Ho passato un weekend a roma con la mia famiglia, ci siamo trovati benissimo. Stanza molto pulita, staff molto professionale e gentile. Ci tornerò con la famiglia e amici!
