Residenza Piranesi Boutique Hotel

This is a very stylish hotel located near the top of the Spanish steps and is great for walking to most of the main attractions, we didn’t need a taxi for our whole stay. For a small fee, We were offered an upgrade from a deluxe room to a superior room with a “city view” it’s really a street view and although it’s nice to watch the world go by, it can be noisy during the day. Evenings were much quieter. Check in was easy and we managed to get in a little earlier. The room was beautiful, stylish and had everything we needed, fantastic shower, comfy bed and good storage. Daily water bottles are a lovely touch and much needed. The Sistina 51 next door is really good value for breakfast, set at €15, good quality, friendly staff and ample food. The only issue at the moment is the construction of a new reception area which was right under our room and works started at 8:15am. It was quieter in the afternoon and no work at the weekend. I accept this in a city and noise is always around you and I look forward to returning when the hotel reception is finished. Thank you to all the very helpful, friendly staff.

Fantastic location in central Rome which is very walkable,its a new hotel in an old building with a fantastic historical lift at its center.There is an excellent restaurant next door with lots of choices within 5 min walk.Check in and check out was very efficient too where we checked out at 1230.Multiple languages spoken by the staff .Wifi is free and good and our room was very quiet and well insulated

A relatively new 3* hotel very close to the Spanish Steps and walking distance to the Basillica of St Mary Major. The room was adequate with the required amenities and has an old fashion lift to get your luggage to the room. Check in was seamless and so was the check out. Better be informed that check out time is 10.30am, which is relatively early when check in time is at 3pm. Room linen was only changed after the 3rd night, which seems to be the standard in Italy but not the rest of the world. Need a look into this. The rate for the hotel is reflective of the area and not its amenities. You might be able to get better rates at other places that are not so central.

Great location and stylish comfortable room. However we barely slept due to incessant noise coming from the room above. Noise insulation was really inadequate. Breakfast was also poor and served in a room with an atmosphere akin to the reception area of a garage. Poor value for money.
