"Nos registramos en el hotel el 10 de marzo. Nos recibió Emilia que sabe cómo funciona el servicio y la atención al cliente. Ella fue muy humilde y dulce en su enfoque y creo firmemente que es una ventaja para el hotel. El hotel tenía cena buffet con menor variedad. El plato principal no me resultó muy apetecible... (sobre todo cuando se trata de un hotel que forma parte del grupo Constance). Sin embargo, los postres fueron increíbles. Lo que ha hecho que este viaje sea decepcionante es que la habitación en la que me alojaba no tenía electricidad. Durante unos minutos volvió la electricidad... fui a darme un baño, sin embargo, para mi sorpresa... nos encontramos con otro corte de energía que duró más... la habitación estaba completamente oscura... ni siquiera tenía mi teléfono conmigo ( supuestamente estaba con cargo) y me golpeé la cabeza con la puerta del baño. Tuve que buscar la manera de tomar mi teléfono para poder agarrar mi ropa. Mi principal preocupación era que nadie vino a informarnos sobre la electricidad. La cena comenzará pronto a las 7:30 y ni siquiera estoy lista. Creo firmemente que les falta atención y servicio al cliente. Nos quedamos sin comodidades. (el viaje alegre resultó estresante) Alrededor de las 19:10 un chico de mantenimiento vino a hablar con mis vecinos por el problema eléctrico... les hizo algunas bromas... estábamos afuera de nuestra habitación pero ni siquiera se disculpó por el inconveniente. Esto demuestra que nos han mirado diferente (Sala 301)"

"Visité el hotel con mi esposo y mi bebé de 8 meses para celebrar nuestro tercer aniversario de bodas durante 5 días. El personal del hotel hizo que nuestra estancia fuera memorable en todos los sentidos. Estamos sumamente agradecidos por las atenciones especiales que nos brindaron. Además, nos impresionaron mucho los servicios ofrecidos, desde la limpieza hasta la comida. Cabe mencionar que viajaba con mi bebé de 8 meses, que acababa de empezar a comer sólidos, y me encantó ver que siempre había algo para él en el buffet. ¡Felicitaciones al equipo, pueden estar orgullosos y seguir así! "Congratulations to the entire bakwa team! The place is beautiful on the edge of the most beautiful beach on the island, in the nature the ecolodges await you, very spacious the rooms have a sea view, very clean, in the middle of the nature of Rodrigues. Beyond beautiful walks towards bottle cove, silver cove, gravel…. Rent a vehicle, I recommend a pick-up and set off to explore the island! The meals are excellent…."

"My 4th time in Rodrigues and the 1st awful experience I encountered. From the pictures on the website, the "villa" looks great but you quickly realise it is not actually. Let's start from the positive side, the location is well situated. Within metres from Robert and Solange and the nice public beach. The view from the balcony is superb. However, it was cut short by some acute lackings from Viane (the host). She was informed by telephone that we will be arriving early morning amd she guaranteed that the rooms will be ready and that breakfast will be served. From the airport, she sent a driver to pick us up who was on time. On the way to the "villa" he did another route which was of course longer. I realised it but didn't say a word and after the trip, he charged us MUR 1500. We paid and didn't mention anything. We were on holidays and didn't want this to make it a sour one. But just to let you know that the time from the airport to the "villa" is only 25 mins. Upon arrival, we are informed that the rooms are not ready. Another surprise because we were informed that it will be ready. Some lemon water were offered to us and we stayed on the balcony for 2 hours before getting the room. It was indeed very hot and humid. As promised on the phone, breakfast was to be served but there was no breakfast. After 1.5 hours when we went to ask Viane about breakfast, she said that it won't be served as we had some snacks on the plane. Being the host and responding to us like this was very very surprising. Again, we didn't make any issue out of it. Finally, the rooms are ready. She showed us the way. Don't expect that she will show you around as she is the only one handling the cleaning of the "villas". Never mind!!! We are young, we will manage. We were a group of 5 persons by the way. Getting in the rooms, it was not that clean. Lizard faeces everywhere, corners of the bathroom full of algae, spots on the bed cover. Again!!!! We said never mind. We are on a short holiday. We will manage. The first night we had dinner at her place. To be honest, the food she prepared was good. Quite expensive though for what is being served. Samossa, white rice, lentils, chicken and papaya salad at MUR 700 per person. Never mind, we didn't want to go out the first night, hence stayed there for dinner. By the way, we had done a 50% deposit for the the accommodation stay and while having dinner, she came and asked for the remaining payment. Very elegant from her side I will say. We told her not to worry, the next day we will go to Port Mathurin to get cash as she doesnt take card payment or online transfer. The following day, we had breakfast. Toast, butter, jam, seasonal fruits, tea, coffee and cake. We left for our tour. One friend was sick, so she stayed at the "villa". During our tour, we get a call from her. She says that there is another man in our "villa" and she was sleeping. When she confronted her, he states that he is staying there and that he will be shari"
